Smogzilla 7,482
Feels like today is a bit of a crossroads moment for boro. I dread to think what could happen to the club if we were relegated. You just can't take for granted that it would be something we could ever come back from. Hold on to your butts. Tonight's gonna be tense. 🤢
TeaCider24 12,635
George Friend's 299th appearance for Middlesbrough tonight. So close to 300, but possibly his last ever game for us.

(Star Wars reference for non sci-fi geeks) But yeah, its gonna be hard to concentrate on anything today until 7:30.

Thanks for the Star Wars reference AR because I hadn’t got a clue what you were on about 😃. Agree re concentration for the rest of the day. I can’t think about anything else 😱
Denzel Zanzibar 6,972
Technically we're safe, but one cannot help but feel the EFL might not be on our side come the Wigan/Wednesday points deductions. The fact that teams might not actually know if they are relegated or not after tonight is absolutely ridiculous.

With the points you raised and I totally agree with you actually means we are not technically safe but boy some strange results need to happen to relegate us. Have a feeling there will be some nasty tastes in various mouths tonight

edinboro 815
If Wigan get their points back it will drag on in the courts. Another week of not knowing is scandalous. Just puts more pressure on us to get that point tonight.
GrimsbyBoro 1,968
Wigan haven't actually lost the points yet. So it wouldn't be a case of getting them back. T They could easily be deducted less points on appeal.

Rioch's Braves 711
The last game, and the end to an absolutely dreadful season, the high point Woodgate been sacked, the low point far too many to mention, good riddance to bad rubbish.

estonpidge 1,449
remember Leeds had their points deduction carried over to the following season as they'd been relegated
