ErimusFootball 110
Lot of extra time on my hands at the minute so I've been working on a miniseries addressing the current situation at Boro, focusing on the main areas of concern and how we could potentially improve. Part one reviewing the current squad and where NW will look to strengthen is here. Part two looks at the potential benefits of bringing in a director of football and the long-term future of the club https://erimusfootball.com/2020/08/03/how-to-solve-a-problem-like-the-boro-director-on-set/ Part three below. https://erimusfootball.com/2020/08/13/how-to-solve-a-problem-like-the-boro-the-real-golden-thread/ Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Liquid 284
Brilliant and fair assessment of the situation at Boro at the moment, well written articles too Erimus. 👍🏻 Love Smithy's transfer suggestions aswell, if only we had someone like that scouting at the Boro. You should email the article every day to Big Gary Gill and hopefully someone will pay attention eventually. 🙂

Articulated my current thoughts on the boro better than I ever could - especially the opening section on Gibson and the context needed when criticising him. As I, you, and many others have been saying for a few years now: I'm not Gibson out, I'm DoF in.
Blanco 4,900
Very well written and brilliantly articulated. Well done @ErimusFootball
AnglianRed 6,239
Brilliant work Erimus! 👍 I don't normally like reading long articles, but your writing style is entertaining, straightforward and informative. Those articles put some of the BBC's writers to shame. Looking forward to Part 3.

Very well done.
Skinemrippers 894
Fantastic read, thanks for sharing. I hope the club go down the DoF route you’ve outlined but I’m not sure Gibson is quite there yet. And I can’t imagine Pulis or Warnock would advocate it either but hopefully someone else has his ear.
RiseAgainst 3,781
Superbly written, and compelling reading. Hope any MFC personnel who venture onto this board see it and share it with anyone in a position to shape the club's summer transfer policy.

ErimusFootball 110
Think I jinxed myself by saying I had a lot of extra time on my hands working from home - things haven't half picked up. Here's the third and final part of the miniseries, looking at the real golden thread of any football club - the connection between supporters and the club. https://erimusfootball.com/2020/08/13/how-to-solve-a-problem-like-the-boro-the-real-golden-thread/

Humpty 3,246
All three an excellent read. There's a nice balance to the writing too. Can someone remind me how you add to another posters 'reputation'? It's been a while..
