I’d much prefer to have the home team listed first and the away team second.

I think it’s especially relevant as games will be played behind closed doors and it’s easy to lose track.

I’d like to point out that I (IIRC) that I have the longest winning streak of 9 wins so 10 continuous MDT’s 😀

I did not know this!

Maybe BU's stick in the memory longer because of his funny / entertaining matchday threads. 😁

I may be going against the consensus here, but I'd quite like to see the date after the title:

BORO vs Derby (12/09/20)

It'd be useful for archiving purposes, if nothing else.

Also just keep the format simple..

BORO v Watford

Watford v BORO

Yes that's better, IMHO 👍

Well looks like you have a good number of volunteers, please don't take this the wrong way, but I hope a good few don't get called up 👍

Up to particular authors I suppose, as you know I always put the final score into the thread title after the game so I could also put the date in there as well.

Does seem that Boro V Watford and Watford V Boro is the favoured format, no-one has suggested the old format stays the same.

Just think lots of games between Whoever and Watford to look forward too

But what if we play other teams than Watford? 🙃

I'm ofc ready as the first and last MDT author the coming season .. 45 wins and a draw in the last game. #UTB

So I guess that must mean we will win the Carling Cup and get to the final of the FA Cup as well!

Big dreams Sonni, can I have what you are on?

Well under Warnock we have a 50% win rate. If that continues next season, you'll get to do a few...

...unless BU goes on one of his famous winning streaks.

I do feel like I'm living on past glories a bit. I haven't done anything in terms of win runs for the last couple of seasons!

well last season it's pretty difficult when you barely win 10 all year. Did we even win 10? I've already forgotten.

    • Definitely Ashcroft.
    • Dodgy one to predict but aren’t all BORO games. So both teams have scored 6 for with BORO conceding 5 and Coventry 14, so the odds are on for us to take 3 points, or or are they. Possibly not as it suggests both teams struggle to hit the target although it also suggests Coventry properly get more up to the half line, but only because they kickoff more then we do after conceding more goals.  Surly if there was ever a game for a midfield or strike force to showcase there skill, this is one they must be licking there lips at and demanding to be picked. The squad must be thinking, finally a game we can loosen up a bit and be creative, finally a chance to rack up a few assists or goals and look a bit more respective in the stats table. Or will they?    I think we will concede but I also think we are capable of 3 goals so I’m going with 3-1 and 3 more points.
    • We have played the top four already and even QPR and Cardiff away are not easy games. Once the amount of games rack up and the quality of the opponents, good, bad and mediocre levels out amongst all the sides we should have a better idea. As it is only Reading, Bournemouth and Boro are unbeaten in the last six games in the Championship. If Howson's goal had stood and had the Ref blew for the infringement on Saville we would be in on 14 points. No doubt there will be a lot more if only's through the season and hopefully fortune going our way but if we can avoid injuries and suspensions we could be in a good place come January when the window opens again. Sometimes its best to fly under the radar, I imagine that while Reading are enjoying life at the moment the pressure of expectation is building.
    • I think it's the hair colour.  Souness had darker hair, Ashcroft's was lighter.  He does look angry though, so that's definitely a Souness trait 👍
    • On reflection, it does look more like Billy Ashcroft than Souness. Nevermind 🤣🤣🤣
