Do we get tables this season OMG?

Yeah mate, I did post a handwritten one with the results on the Week 1 post (and will do again this week) but I'm working on getting the computer to do it to save me time. Will have this week's up tomorrow.

Sorry dude, this season is a work in progress 😂. I'm learning stuff I need to implement either throughout this season or next year to male my life easier and just neaten/quicken it up as I know I'm running a bit slower than MM but bear with me and it'll all go smoothly eventually

Yeah you need to get some sort of Excel on the job

Right, I have spent.... probably more time than I would like my bosses to find out..... on Excel today, trying to build a spreadsheet to track league fixtures. Unfortunately, when I have tried it tonight, it looks like a bit of formatting is off somewhere as it was recording results twice on the sheet for some teams. I will figure this out over the next week.

For tonight, here are the results and the league table..... in paper form again!

    • Dodgy one to predict but aren’t all BORO games. So both teams have scored 6 for with BORO conceding 5 and Coventry 14, so the odds are on for us to take 3 points, or or are they. Possibly not as it suggests both teams struggle to hit the target although it also suggests Coventry properly get more up to the half line, but only because they kickoff more then we do after conceding more goals.  Surly if there was ever a game for a midfield or strike force to showcase there skill, this is one they must be licking there lips at and demanding to be picked. The squad must be thinking, finally a game we can loosen up a bit and be creative, finally a chance to rack up a few assists or goals and look a bit more respective in the stats table. Or will they?    I think we will concede but I also think we are capable of 3 goals so I’m going with 3-1 and 3 more points.
    • We have played the top four already and even QPR and Cardiff away are not easy games. Once the amount of games rack up and the quality of the opponents, good, bad and mediocre levels out amongst all the sides we should have a better idea. As it is only Reading, Bournemouth and Boro are unbeaten in the last six games in the Championship. If Howson's goal had stood and had the Ref blew for the infringement on Saville we would be in on 14 points. No doubt there will be a lot more if only's through the season and hopefully fortune going our way but if we can avoid injuries and suspensions we could be in a good place come January when the window opens again. Sometimes its best to fly under the radar, I imagine that while Reading are enjoying life at the moment the pressure of expectation is building.
    • I think it's the hair colour.  Souness had darker hair, Ashcroft's was lighter.  He does look angry though, so that's definitely a Souness trait 👍
    • On reflection, it does look more like Billy Ashcroft than Souness. Nevermind 🤣🤣🤣
