Looking into ways to share my stream, private youtube might be the way to go.

Lets put this into perspective after todays results. These championship teams lost to lower league teams: QPR (to Plymouth) Birmingham (to Cambridge) Huddersfield (to Rochdale) Swansea

Look there were positives and negatives there for me.

Positives:

Actually took our chances when they were given to us
Wing looked as good as he has in a long time
Dijksteel looks like he could be a right player for us.
When we did decide to play football we played quite well at times.
Thought Wood looked classy and comfortable when he came on
Browne did himself no harm too with a decent cameo off the bench.

Negatives:

Spence might as well not have been on the pitch.
The combo of left sided Fry & Neymarvs lack of defensive ability had us cut open down that side time after time
The defending for the third goal especially was *** dreadful, although there are questions over all 3.
Why bother playing a midfield at all if you're just going to pump the ball over the top every time
Didn't play to Britts strengths again; I know people like to rag on him but he's not going to play that well with all these hit and hope long balls.

Ah go on, say it 🎼Boro are on their way to Wembley 🎼 🤣

Aha. Well, last time I was there the toilets needed a good clean. Probably a few job vacancies to fill.

Not after I used it, may I add.

Hall
Spence
Howson
Wing
Assombalonga

All of the above poor tonight for me

Shrewsbury can feel hard done by.

At least Wood looked good when he cane on, I’d be tempted to start him on Friday

Saville and McNair need to come straight back in as well

Positives (just for @2plus2) -

- 2 goals for Fletcher, will do his confidence a world of good

- Johnson has already got 50% of his goal total from the past 3 years in one game this season, as well as 20% of his assists total from the same period.

- Browne looked lively when he came on

- Wood looks very solid - hopefully he can push on and reduce the need for a signing in the defensive position

Negatives (have a gander at that mullet for a while!)

- Defensively we are shocking. That was a mid table league one side that just embarrassed us throughout the game. A real concern for when we come up against decent sides.

- The style of play - very difficult to watch. We can't string passes together, we go long at the earliest opportunity.

- Gaping holes in the side - I think if we're going to play the aforementioned style, a defensive midfielder and a big striker is a must - we have neither. Left wing back is still a huge area of weakness that will be exploited from a defensive point of view time and time again if something isn't done about it.

1 goal better than the start of last season.

back 5 need more competitive game time, wing back positioning poor

can see why we are after a specialist defensive midfielder in this formation.

A good result in many ways. Won, scored goals, massively highlighted deficiencies which will be addressed in the coming weeks. No way is the manager not going to add GK, 2 defenders and a defensive CM. I think he was going to anyway but I reckon he’s got Bausor in a quiet corner already!

I will add one trough of negativity though. I'm not convinced by Fry's suitability for this system. Not either side of the central CB anyway.

i;m hoping we get a left footed  CB ASAP

Interesting, I thought Wing played quite well all things considered.

No problem, when I get the keys to my new place the internet will be better.

First of, thanks Red Rocket for the stream I really appreciate it

Now while our defence looked pretty woeful tonight and Stojanovic is god awful. I was definitely entertained by tonight’s game and it’s been a long time since I’ve come away from a boro game and felt that.

If we can iron out our defensive issues and never play Stojanovic again, I feel like we are serious contenders for the playoffs. Attacking wise we are definitely a threat and we haven’t seen that since before Pulis.

Really excited for for the game next Friday and I have every confidence we have the ability to get a result there.

I'm feeling positive for the season ahead of us.
