Tav completely ineffective for me so far. Be looking to get Browne on in the second half if it continues. I like Tav but he just needs to do more for me.

Have to disagree with this mate hes been really good for me just needs a little more help from his midfielders some 1 2s so he can get in behind their midfield and turn their defence around which will open up the channel for britt and fletch

I'm a bit amazed that tav is getting criticism after that half. Everything good about us has gone through him. Yes he loses the ball and sometimes hits wayward passes but that's what happens when you try to be creative. Have we been so conditioned to go against that?!

Don't get the criticism of Tav at all. He's been one of our brighter players.

He'll excel with Morsy in our midfield.

I think this will be a miracle too far for him, but as long as we don't get hammered I won't be too unhappy.

Never thought Warnock would be out done on Set piece tactics like this Watford manager has looked at us and figured a way to expose us on corner's

Tav is our Best creator of chances by a country mile.. And his composure is what we have been neesing for years..

Don't get the crtiscism he gets here..

Tav has been the best. Worst is a competition between Hall, Howson and Spence. None of those have done anything to deserve a start in the second half. But our bench is non existent so nothing will happen.

A competitive half of football spoiled for us by poor defending from the corner. We look very one paced and really lack creativity in the midfield, could badly do with another centre half and a loud mouth antagonist as captain, it is all just to easy for Watford. Finally can somebody tell Spence what he is supposed to be doing he looks lost

I do think if something happens with this 11, he'll be involved. I don't think he's been great but then I don't think anyone has really.

I fully expected us to lose here but we're only 1-0 down and we're not dead and buried by a long shot. Hopefully we'll have a decent second half and at least get a point!

No true. But he's one of those players that as soon as he gets on the ball you sit up. Its a rare quality, especially in a boro team!

    • Two scoring draws last term between the teams and always a close call before that. Forest you would expect to shrug off their poorish start and to progress, but they will also be desperate to start winning. However I would suspect Houghton will be content with a point at the Riverside but for Boro we need to start winning back to back games and I believe we will be too much for Forest and achieve a rare event of late. Maybe travelling teams will be showing a bit more respect towards us as a whole but I do think the game will be very different than seen against Coventry. Going for a home win though at start of season would have been ok with a draw
    • Forest have so many attacking options, IF we win this it'll set a great marker for where we are heading.
    • I can see Spence dropping to the bench and one of bola or Johnson stepping in, with tav on the right. I assume that was the purpose of the subs the other night. roberts back to the bench as well perhaps.... if no akpom, I’m comfortable with Browne starting, he has done everything asked of him so far. Midfield and defence picks itself, barring injury
    • So I've seen lots of highlights recently where both penalties and red cards were given, I thought they'd moved away from red cards if it was a penalty, or is it still a red card for being last man?
    • Hopefully Akpom is fit and if he is I would go to a 3.5.2. I would also bring Coulson in. I want him to succeed here and NW said he looked bright in training. Betti Dijk Fry Paddy Tav Howson Morsy Sav Coulson Britt Akpom I would love a win but i rate forest. Would not be too disappointed with a draw.
