Absolute ***. If people seriously want to watch this for a season you are off your bloody heads.  Barnsley get the ball and it’s pass to feet, pass to feet, pass to feet, movement off the ball. We get

Tonight certainly laid bare why Warnock didn't mix things up by using the bench against Watford. If he had the 1-0 scoreline might have been more damaging. We were never going to win the Cup and

Treating this game as a preseason friendly like he did the last round

Agreed. He has been totally dismissive of the competition and this season's format.

He has a small squad that we all know isn't strong enough, does not want a midweek trip to get beasted by Chelsea. So, he's approached this as a training match to give minutes to fringe players.

If one or two have a decent game happy days, but he isn't interested in the contest, whether we like it or not.

Interesting to see what you can do when you give your players the belief and confidence to take risks and play positive football, rather than scream at them until they punt it into the corner at the first sign of pressure.

How can Barnsley play passing possitive football with their budget. Yet for us who have a vastly superior budget to them it's unachievable

Hiring a manager who wants to play that way is often a good start.

Because we're hamstrung by only appointing managers who have our chairman's number and ignored the cheaper european talent market for 4 years because... Victor Orta

Apparently he didn’t have any options whatsoever on his 7 man bench. And everyone knows you don’t change tactics at boro to try and change things.

How is Morsy doing?

Not that good. If it was Clayton playing like this you’d have a different set of replies I suspect.  In fairness to him, he’s walked into a bad side playing bad football.
