Boro v Bournemouth 1-1 (Browne)

Recommended Posts

Only saw the second half as was driving back from the U.K.

Thought we deserved at least the one point on the second half display - still lacking a few ideas but combativity was great.

This might be a turning point - once Chuba gets playing we’ll be a force to be reckoned with!

Sadly the history of mankind is littered with "ism's" of many types. Wars have been started over them and millions of lives lost because of it. Since the days we lived in caves we developed tribalism

In light of Warnock's diagnosis,  I think we have to say we won't be able to fulfill the Bournemouth fixture because of health reasons. We should just cancel the game and fax the paperwork over to the

How about the poppy being on the England shirts? I don't agree that it shouldn't be allowed because quite frankly, I just don't see how gestures like this are the only thing that is political about fo

Good performance, a point is the least we deserved.

I'm normally defending him, but Johnson was shocking today, every delivery was a shocker.

Betinelli was excellent and very vocal throughout the match, it was funny hearing him screaming at the ref for his decision.

Dijksteel was great, happy to see him flourishing.

As Browne's biggest supporter, I was happy to see him grab the equaliser, though it's strange he's being played as a striker.

McNair played well and I was happy with Britt's performance even though the Bournemouth defenders got away with molesting him for most of the match.

A few more signings and we could be decent.

How did  the crowd sound on stream?

Was surprised how good the atmosphere was even with only 1000 in. Definitely gave energy to the lads.

I don't have my sound on but there were some audio issues with the stream apparently.

Tav/Browne in the 10 spot?

We need a Gaston/Tomlin type player in behind the strikers IMO. We just aren't creating enough chances, I think Tav is better playing without attacking responsibility.

Personally I think Akpom could be utilised in the #10 role.

Though if Fletcher is out for a few games I'd expect him to start up front alongside Britt.

If we did end up getting Woodrow he'd be a good fit behind the 2. He has some good passing percentages and obviously also has an eye for goal. But think that is out the question now, due to Akpom coming in.

Do think @DevKWat is right, we need a "specialist" number 10.

Woodrow was on the bench and never came on.

I was going to ask what it was like?  I remembered you had managed to get a ticket.

Considering it was only 1000 people, each sat 3 seats apart, the atmosphere was decent.

Saying that, could still hear every word from the players from where I was sat in the upper tier.

Only weird thing was going there in the car with someone, walking to the seats together and then having to split up.

But I'm used to fewer fans around me as a veteran of the north stand upper, haha.
