UTFB! Saville and Johnson excellent tonight. Wood up front - a clear message to Gibson and Bausor

Progress. Unmistakeable progress. We're getting more solid defensively and more slick in our passing. The signs are more positive than they have been for a while. And Roberts could be immense for us i

I think it's more just a case of him playing back in his favoured position. He clearly can't play left side of either a back 4 or a back 5. When he's played central or on the right he goes back to loo

Great result. We aren't pretty on the eye but we look very solid so far this season its very encouraging at this early stage to see we are competitive in each game. Tonight for the first time in a long time watching us we looked so solid at the back I didn't feel we were going to concede.

The unbeaten run continues.

What an unexpected result that was. Brilliant from the team. Only one loss from the opening 6 games. I never thought that. Keep it up guys. Just one or two free attacking signings and I think we can at least finish top half.

Saville is so much better suited up the pitch like tonight, probably our best player.

Johnson was woeful mate, how can you possibly think he was excellent?

Saville is a work horse midfielder. I wouldn't say he's suited as a number 10 but definitely a box to box midfielder. Quality performance. I said last season that I thought him, McNair and Howson were the only shining lights out of last season.

You must be kidding me regarding Johnson. I'm not his biggest fan at all but he was solid defensively tonight and won all his challenges.

Bloody hell 8 minutes of stoppage time!?!?! Did they really spend that long getting Mawson stretchered off?

Well, Lady Luck once again smiled on Boro tonight with Saville's goal. Stream suffered a few interruptions but from what I was able to see a draw would have been a fair result.

Defensively we did great, ensuring the home side didn't have a shot on target all game. That said our only goalbound effort was Saville's strike.

Very happy with the unexpected points. Looks like we are shaping up pretty well defensively, which I guess was Warnock's priority. Next thing to work on is our attacking play. So often we looked slow in our decision-making and took the predictable options, making us easy to defend against.

But hey - we won! Will sleep better tonight now.

Superb result, loved the discipline haven't seen that sort of performance since Karanka I don't think. Well done Warnock and the players deserved that.

It reminded me of an Aitor performance as well. Obdurate and always in the right place, mostly defensive in structure but then breaking with a bit of purpose. And that's with Britt, Fletch and Hall out and Johnson starting instead of Coulson/Bola/anyone else.

Similar to when NW took Cardiff up

Deserved that. Defensively with Djiksteel, Fry and McNair its hard to see better players at this level at the moment.

We just need more attacking options.

Morsy is great.

What challenges?
