Ah I see the confusion now, the same words in a different order. Paraphrasing is the practice of citing the same meaning using different words, as opposed to stating a different meaning using the same words. By the way I’m not a lawyer or an English teacher, but I did once rescue Brian Blessed from a forest.

That's how lawyers (and politicians) make their living...they would argue that you meant an English teacher, rather than a teacher of English ..and then claim you were biased against Scottish or Irish teachers... or claim that when you said you were a solicitor, you said soliciter and there's a lot of people that still think the forest is full of wild bores, so it would be the perfect place for a man of his talents, although I have to admit that he was one of the standout performers in O'Toole's "Macbeth".... little known trivia ...BB was approached to be Dr. Who at one point that would have been .. different 🙂
p_mards 1,363
Aye, paraphrasing keeps the same substance; You just express it in a more concise manner. You can even completely re-word it so long as the substance remains. I don’t think I’d have been within a single assignment word count limit at university without paraphrasing like a butcher 😂 Edited October 26, 2020 by p_mards

A little something to keep us entertained until kick off on Tuesday night. I want to see your best/worst boro-themed drawings! I will accept photos of hand-drawn doodles or Ms-paint/snapchat jobs. Whatever works for you! Please get them in before kick-off on Tuesday night and I will pick a winner after the game. Here is my entry. Downsouth 6,175
Interesting thread well done Smogzilla. Back to the game, massively important that we are seen as the dominant team and that we are an attacking team expecially at home. Need a win otherwise we become the draw king specialists. We are not a relegation candidate this season and not too sure where we can finish but I do know that we are not too far off being a good team for the division. Take it to Coventry and get 3 points under the belt
Foogle 2,078
If I were a pessimist I'd say that 3 points are essential in this so I'd be predicting a 2-1 loss in typical Boro fashion... Although as a self proclaimed optimist I'll say a tough grindy 2-1 in our favour!

Will Roberts start and help to unlock their defence? Does Howson need a haircut? 1. Yes. We need him fit, and playing at home (for what that's worth any more) against a team unlikely to uproot many trees is an obvious way to get him match fit again. 2. Yes. If we have a prayer of promotion this season, Paddy will need to be our Gaston. In terms of creative midfield play, not in terms of making the beast with two backs. 3. Nah. We need more long-haired footballers, not less. And I say that as someone who used to 'rock' the long-haired look until someone walked up behind me in Sainsbury's, tapped me on the shoulder and said "excuse me hen, sorry, son". boroie 484
Looking forward to this now, hope we smash them. I'd like to see Britt on the scoresheet, Roberts start the match in close support and a few mins for Browne could be good too. Here's my masterpiece, just call me banksy 6 2
AnglianRed 6,229
I'm probably dooming us to a freak loss, but I'm feeling confident about this one...even allowing for the fact its a home game. Coventry's record so far is pretty miserable - W1 D2 L4 F6 A14 so we have every reason to go into this one expecting 3 points. Predicting a first clean sheet since...the last one...and a couple of goals from set pieces, either side of half time, to make it a comfortable 2-0 win for Boro. Will add some awful MS Paint artwork later, if I get time.
