After Rotherham, think we can rule Fry out, Tav also (and injured)... same with Dijksteel.. not many other options... who are our serious saleable assets? I have a very real fear that Dijksteel is possibly going. The minor injury is a standard routine for players on the market. I have nothing else to base this on but it does have me slightly concerned 😟

Alves car salesman 152
Southampton are currently short at the back, they have cash and like to play decent football, could be interested in Dijksteel
edinboro 815
Seems to be loads of deals getting done all of a sudden. I notice we are now 15/1 to get promoted. Twice the odds of Blackburn. If we get the next 2 days right we have a right good chance. Really hope we find a striker that can work off Bolasie, Watmore and Tav.

Their manager was asked if they would strengthen and he said he'd love to but they have no money.

We’ve been lumbered with overpaid players for years now and are finally shedding those wages.
Donnyboro 700
Would’ve thought if we’ve been chasing him most of the window, we’d know what his wage demands are and if there within budget 🤷♂️
TeaCider24 12,631
I see Derby are chasing Mendez-Laing, so he's clearly still allowed to play football.

However If Warnock does what he has done with lots of our other players and gets Bolasie firing even half he was at Crystal Palace this window could match it. The truth about the success of a window is in the eating. If the signings improve the squad that results in more wins its successful window. They is defiently alot more depth to our squad now like today we had 4 decent strikers on the bench. At pre season we only had Fletcher and Britt Easy to have 4 strikers on the bench by having 0 on the pitch

It is supposed to be a pretty basic part of the game, after all. Fletcher has scored a few decent ones with his head To be able to score from headers you first have to have someone able to cross properly instead of hitting the first man or going out for a throw in

McNair, Johnson and Tav all very capable of putting a good ball in but we have no one in the squad at all good at attacking headers bar Grant Hall and to some extent Ashley Fletcher, it’s not just the strikers. We could have Kevin De Bruyne putting corners in and we wouldn’t score headers.
Youngy228 1,444
Vydra starts for Burnley - so no chance of that. Not saying I ever thought there was but was a name mentioned.
Alves car salesman 152
Another signing close for #NFFC with Glenn Murray set to sign on a permanent deal until the end of the season. Final paperwork being processed, that will formally see him return to Brighton from loan at Watford, before reuniting with Chris Hughton in Nottingham.
