Dont want Zohore. Would take a punt on Mendez-Laing if he overcome the reported personal issues he was suffering from.

It's legal issues, not just personal.

You don't get released for "serious breach of contract" without it being a proper issue, no club is going to release a player for mental health issues in this day and age, the backlash would rightly be major.

He's definitely done something wrong.

"Harris said "time will tell" if any more details would emerge but he said he was bound by "legal protocols".

But he was part of the process, due to the "severity" of the matter and said: "I was consulted by the football club.""

Can’t believe that people on here are condemning a possible signing because of rumours that he dealt drugs.    One thing or squad is crying out for is someone that can distribute well 😳

Fletcher is close to signing a new contract.

Wouldn't want an individual of his repute anywhere near the Club or at least until "proven" innocent. That said it hasn't stopped the Club in the past from acquiring unsavoury characters who stank the place out in more ways than one.

Think he can play anywhere across the back.

Yeah. He a centre and right back so might fit in with what Warnock said about wanting a player who can play both defensive roles.

Our 2021 version of Tomas Kalas maybe

As far as I know we don’t know what the issues with Lang are. It’s hard if not impossible to make a comment about whether we would sign him.

It’s a strange one about Lang. Nothing has been said to why he got sacked and if it was something illegal like drug dealing that was suggested on here at the time it would of been all over the papers by now.

There are only the Social Media rumours which are well publicised out there rightly or wrongly. My take is that the Club normally would have merely suspended him while investigations took place. That they didn't and acted immediately, taking a hit on an asset and in doing so losing a good player won't have been an easy decision. Terminating contracts can be complex and costly if they get it wrong. There are two main "stories" which may or may not be connected, either are shocking if true.

And you would assume charged with drug dealing offences.

Unless reporting on whatever it is would be seen as prejudicial to a trial. Very few journalists fancy being held in contempt of the court.
