Huddersfield Town V Boro 3-2 ( Johnson, Assombalonga))

McNair nearly bailed us out. But this 2nd half performance has been dire yet no urgency from Warnock on the bench. Their manager is shouting out instructions. We are accepting defeat isn't right

Thing is as well, again, if the lads are knackered, there's no use in leaving them on to get even more knackered.

    • Ah yes, forgot about Browne, he‚Äôs¬†looked¬†very technically sound when I‚Äôve seen him and has a lovely touch. Still think there is a good player in there somewhere, just been so unfortunate with his injuries.¬†
    • Barnsley beating Stoke, they're now 7th and 1 point off Bournemouth. Also 3 points behind Reading with a game in hand on them. I think they're top 3 in form since their manager took over.
    • Come on Cardiff don't lose please¬†
    • Thats more or less how I remember it. Southgate, although being a rookie and his inexperience being¬†at least partly to blame, was also something of a sacrificial lamb. The fall guy for¬†the club's financial restructuring.¬† I think he was given a rather thankless task (like a couple of more recent ones), but I still believe he was showing promise as a Championship level manager. Anyway...LOTS of water under the bridge since then...
    • I look at what Ian Evatt did at Barrow and how he got some very limited players playing some incredible technical football, and wonder if it is more a mental attitude of the players being asked to play that way alongside the tactical setup and coaching. Or whether you have to be down right talented to play that way, personally I think it is a mix of both.¬†I think looking at our contracted players, I'd say the vast majority of them can play that way, then you get into the realms of looking at the loanees that will need replacing this summer. ¬†
