Me too. But the missus has a headache again 🙁

During the Karanka spell. The team got each other a secret Santa. Gorgeous George received a hamster (I forget what they called it) but after receiving said rodent we went on a brilliant run of form s

I heard the luck ended when Gary Monk ate the hamster by swallowing it whole and digesting it slowly as it worked its way down his oesophagus. He then blinked sideways and slithered back to his basket

Despite a rather convincing win at the weekend, Luton will be a different proposition.

Clear as night is day or something, Luton win this one.

An inevitable Boro defeat.

Worst badge in English football? Burnley's. It looks like it was designed on a Sinclair Spectrum, which presumably was the only computer they could afford. In the late 90s.

I have a soft spot for Luton after all the horrors they've been through, and I enjoyed Nick Owen's tenure at the club. Quietly pleased to see them consolidating in mid-table after flirting with relegation. I'd like to think our tails will be up after Saturday, but then again, we seem to be the Championship's false dawn specialists, so I'll say a 1-1 draw.

And Mr Warnock, if you're reading this, can I advise you to follow the sage advice of one Michael Bassett, and play 442? It's the only way to get a tune out of any of our strikers...

TALKING POINTS:

Is there a dafter badge than Luton's?

Burton Albion's (a fat bloke doing a horrible mis-kick, wearing shoes with heels)?

How quickly will we score three goals this time?

Not going to happen. I don't see Luton being as bad as Millwall were.

If Ashley Fletcher played alongside The Ginger Juninho upfront every game, would we win the league easily?

Probably not, but we'd likely be a few places further up.

Shall we keep the same winning team or play Roberts?

I never like changing a winning team, unless injuries or suspensions force it. We looked far more effective playing 4-4-2 so I do hope NW sticks with it...unless Luton present some sort of threat that demands otherwise.

Think we would lose heavily if we played 4-2-2, though I am sure some will argue that the way strikers performed in some games would suggest that we have tried it. Hopefully unchanged team as Anglian says and a better performance than last year, they are not renowned for defensive fortitude, but we have to capitalise on any chances we get as they will know that too and will not sit back. Would take a 1-0, but as usual, anything could happen.

I think we would lose heavily if we started with only eight outfield players! Mind you, since it doesn't seem to matter how many CDMs we start with in terms of results, it might not affect the scoreline that much...

If we can beat Millwall 3-0 with 8 men what can we do against Luton with a full team

To me what more?  is our best striker as a

a he anticipates - see goal 1

b he untangles his feet when presented an opportunity - see goal 2

I prefer Akpom as a striker as he makes space for what more ? to move into

neither are particularly good in the air so keeping the ball on the floor might be a good idea

For those that are feeling a little bored..  some really obscure ones

Managed 81 immediately.

Ended up with most of them 89, managed to miss Cambridge (don't think I'd ever have got that) and Barrow and Port Vale, because I forgot they were even teams in the league. 😞
