There next 5 games are

Birmingham and Derby at home

Bournemouth and Wycombe Away

then Sheff Wed at home.

3 of those teams are fighting for their lives, and obviously Bournemouth is a 6 pointer.

I think they'll lose at least 2 of them.

I won't mind being wrong, I think time is running out for us.

I'm just imagining Woody giving the exact same presentation he gave here but because he couldn't work out how to delete the Boro Badge and replace it with a Bournemouth badge it's just this on every p

From our point of view, they are at least against teams who are still playing for something I suppose.

Can only hope they do a Boro.

This is a fun time - but after last season I am just happy to not be at bottom of league wondering if we are going to get relegated. The fact we are 5 points from 6th place is a good place and move in right direction #UTB

If we can somehow win this weekend, we've still got every chance.

After Preston, Bournemouth's next 3 fixtures are Barnsley, Swansea and Middlesbrough.

That's discounting the chance that they could lose to Preston.

I guess that's better than Stoke gaining 1 point

Such a shame that Bournemouth won .. But they will  face a tough run soon.

Glad for Wing's Rotherham late winner

Connor Roberts had a very good game there.

I was hoping Swansea Stoke would finish 1 all. Swansea will now be buoyed by that result for weekend. They were very fortunate as that was never a pen.

We won late on without cheating, so we'd surely be buoyed more.

Yeah but we are Boro so we will just f**k *** up as we just cannot seem to get any momentum.

Albeit we are on sky this Saturday despite it being a 3pm sat kick off

I would not put too much emphasis on that where we are concerned.

We had a fairly decent January fixture list as well but ended up losing 3 home games v lowly Birmignham and Rotherham and a very inconsistent Blackburn .

In the interest of balance, can anyone think of any goals we've scored this season that have came about from blatant cheating?

I can't think of any off the top of my head.

We will get in the playoffs if we just keep winning we can't afford to drop many points at all though now. Like at Swansea this weekend we can't really afford a draw gotta go for the win.

    • You'd have to kick out Wrexham, Newport and Merthyr too. I doubt they'd want it though, the drop in finances would be absolutely massive. I wouldn't want them to leave either, I like them being in the same league system as English clubs. If I could reform the leagues from scratch, I'd love a full British league, but far too much time has passed and history been created for it to be workable now.
    • I couldn't remember how to spell Stuani's first name, or Braithwaite. Also a couple of others I struggled with. ☹️
    • But obviously there's nothing preventing a team from another country competing in a league, there are loads of examples of it even outside of the English leagues. Canadian teams play in the American league. Berwick Rangers play in the Scottish leagues. Derry play in the Republic of Ireland's league. Vaduz plays in the Swiss league. Monaco plays in the French league. Andorra's biggest club plays in the Spanish league. Etc etc.
    • Thats kind of what I was getting at with my last paragraph. It would be a huge upheaval to an existing system...therefore unlikely to happen. You did just given me another thought though. How about we kick Swansea and Cardiff out of the EFL and make them play in the LoW? Then it would be like the SPL with those two clubs always fighting for the silverware. Wonder what their fans would think of that? 😁
