That smug little gobshite Branthwaite was smirking all the way off the pitch as Warnock spoke to him. Hope gets a lengthy retrospective ban.

Hopefully we play like we did last time vs Blackburn and batter them, only this time we actually score some of our chances please.

After a great away win v Forest is it now time to have a visit by our old friends Daniel Ayala, Stewart Downing, Ainsley Pears and Tony Mowbray and the rest of Blackburn. Blackburns last outing w

Just watching this on TV.

Complaining to the officials changes nothing. They're not going to turn the clock back and award a penalty... it just risks punishment. Complaining may be understandable, but it changes nothing,

Easier to blame a referee than look at yourself although in this particular case, the referee made a quite seriously bad decision.  If a 6'3'' player get's kicked in the head and he isn't stooped over then it's safe to say that it's a high boot/dangerous play.

The two poor decisions don’t excuse another poor performance from us in the last two home games!

fletcher shouldn’t have came on ahead others on the bench, way of the page.

If we get two or three players in before the end of the window we’re going for it, if not Gibson is happy that Warnocks got the ship steady

Get the groundsmen to sort out the *** pitch.

I am sick of watching our players slip over every single home match, and if it's deliberate I haven't seen us benefit from it once!

Agree you would expect the pitch to be tailored to our specifications hence advantage.

Feel pretty defeated after that tbh. Were well on top, didn't deserve to go 1 down. Absolutely *** terrible defending by Spence in particular, just couldn't give a *** at all about his man.

I hope Warnock tears into the ref post game and we just eat whatever fines come his way.

Same goes for Howson so let's get him out on loan as well.

Obviously not. Howson isn’t going to improve from going out on loan is he? Wood will. Sarcastic comment from yourself as per 👍🏼

The poor decision by the referee likely cost us, but there is no doubt that we have no idea about getting the ball down and passing it. We created nothing, and it was one of the worst displays that I have seen.  The team as a whole need to take the blame not individual players as it was a crap 90 minutes.

Well this is continuing to be a real rollercoaster season. Following on from our excellent last outing at Forest, comes this absolute turd at home to Blackburn.

Pretty scrappy game to start with, though I'd say Blackburn looked the more dangerous and created a few decent efforts in the first half.

Pretty much everything went to pot after Fry's injury...neither side looked focused.

Boro started the 2nd half brightly and it looked like we might get a grip on the game and look to win it. Came very close to scoring on a few occasions and were only denied by some excellent saves from their keeper.

Then for some reason we just switched off and conceded a stupidly soft goal. Rarely looked in the game after that. Boro looked ragged, scrappy and barely capable of stringing 2 passes together. Worse, we looked lethargic and lacking fight, while the visitors just looked increasingly comfortable.

Only consolation is that, based on current form, we're due to win our next game and we usually follow crap performances with good ones (and vice versa).

Last but by no means least, hoping Fry's injury isn't too serious and that he makes a speedy recovery. Also hope their player gets a suitable retrospective punishment.

Awful loss. Compounded but not significantly influenced by the challenge on Fry in the first half. No excuses for losing that, for me. We had a grip on the game, we had a hold on Blackburn, we switch off in our own box and we lose it. Best stuff went through Tav and we seemed to just forget he was even on the pitch until the pass that he tried to receive and got injured from. Roberts comes on and sure enough, he doesn't get given the ball very much either as soon as he moved out wide. There was no concrete plan to get back in the game, it was throw enough *** and hope something sticks and all we did was play into their hands.
