That smug little gobshite Branthwaite was smirking all the way off the pitch as Warnock spoke to him.

Hope gets a lengthy retrospective ban.

I hope that happens, not for sour grapes but it's clear dangerous play.

Hopefully we play like we did last time vs Blackburn and batter them, only this time we actually score some of our chances please.

After a great away win v Forest is it now time to have a visit by our old friends Daniel Ayala, Stewart Downing, Ainsley Pears and Tony Mowbray and the rest of Blackburn. Blackburns last outing w

He needs banning for the amount of time FRY is out

Obviously not. Howson isn’t going to improve from going out on loan is he? Wood will. Sarcastic comment from yourself as per 👍🏼

No, he can just keep making mistakes for us instead 👍

Not actually a sarcastic comment at all.  Pointing out that when youngsters make mistakes it's because they aren't ready or aren't good enough but the same mistake from an experienced player doesn't even get a response from some people on here.  Maybe people need to look at that and consider if they are being fair to some players or not?

It’s really disappointing to see us play the ball on the floor and create a number of chances. Then we get countered and concede so we decide to play hoofball which doesn’t creat chances

In my day that smirking ahole would have been sorted out on the pitch and would have been stretched off not allowed to walk off, then again it was the eighties

Wood has looked pretty awful today. Needs to go out on loan.

I thought he looked spot on to be honest. Unless the reason we want him to go out on loan is to stop him from keeping that pesky ball on the floor. 18 years of age and he looked no less assured than anybody else on the pitch at any stage of the game. He was the only one who managed to find a player with his long balls out from the back, too.

Agree you would expect the pitch to be tailored to our specifications hence advantage.

Something like this would help us out. Custom made for the long ball tactic

Awful loss. Compounded but not significantly influenced by the challenge on Fry in the first half. No excuses for losing that, for me. We had a grip on the game, we had a hold on Blackburn, we switch off in our own box and we lose it. Best stuff went through Tav and we seemed to just forget he was even on the pitch until the pass that he tried to receive and got injured from. Roberts comes on and sure enough, he doesn't get given the ball very much either as soon as he moved out wide. There was no concrete plan to get back in the game, it was throw enough *** and hope something sticks and all we did was play into their hands.

Not significantly influenced?

Mate we should have been playing vs 10 men for 60+ minutes of the game, how's that not a significant influence?

I hope NW doesn't try to use Fry's injury as an excuse as to why we played so poorly.

It's all right being concerned for a team mate's well being, but you have to park that while the match is in progress and focus on the job in hand.
