wilsoncgp 9,283 Posted February 13, 2021 Share Posted February 13, 2021 Certainly a decent argument made around penalties but I think really, defenders have to be more intelligent than leaving a leg in in that area of the pitch with the rules as they are and likely will continue to be. The risk involved in making the movement they did was huge. It's not part of his natural movement, he lunges out as if to challenge for the ball when he's nowhere near it. There was a man coming across ready to challenge the ball from a much better position, he's not gonna win the ball himself, leave it go. Link to post Share on other sites
