Just preparing myself for the game

I'm at that point where I don't even think the team selection really matters- as long as we play hoof ball it doesn't matter who is in the team. That said, because we play hoof ball we certainly

I agree with @Borodane, the second half was very poor. We looked comfortable in the first 20mins or so of it but we had absolutely no intention of getting that extra goal. From about the 65th min they

Definitely a back 3 with wingbacks. I don’t think NW rates the Dijksteel-McNair centre back partnership (I certainly don’t) and wants an extra body in there. Hall will hopefully offer a bit more height and strength as we were totally bullied by Derby and Rotherham.
What a difference Fry and Tav would make to this team though, no wonder Warnock is bemoaning it.

im going for 1-1.

I'm worried if it's a 5 that we're also still playing with a gap between the striker and midfield. Say it's a 5-2-3 and Kebano and Watmore are still playing out wide, there's still the potential for nobody really picking up the positions in the middle of the pitch behind the striker. I guess with wing-backs it's more likely one or two of them could be pulling inside more often but I guess we'll see how it shapes up in an hour's time.

Well at last the ponderous three in midfield have been split up, with McNair presumably moving forward to give some impetus. I can't see us missing Saville as he is one of the most ineffective tacklers I have seen in that position. I would rather have Fletcher up front than Assombalonga who I think is just protecting himself before new club negotiations begin. Oh well let's see how it goes and let's just hope they don't manage a shot on target at Flappanell.

I wouldn't be surprised to see it be Kebano as a 10 behind Fletch and Watmore, honestly. He's mentioned quite a bit recently that Kebano can play number 10 so I think that's what we might see.

It really doesn't matter how the system lines up. 3-5-2, 5-2-1-2, doesn't make a massive difference. What matters is the roles the players are given and style they are instructed to play with. If we keep playing with a non-existent midfield and pumping balls into the channels we won't win. Wish I could be optimistic, but I can't see it happening.

Could be interesting with fisher and bola as wing backs. Don't think it'll be as defensive as it looks.

Based on what? Warnock’s previous attacking set ups?

For me, tonight isn't about performance. It's about getting the win at all costs regardless of how the goals come etc.

Happy to see 1 of the 3 CM dropped and change of formation. I just hope it's Watmore alongside Fletcher with Kebano in the hole.

Feel Bola needs a rest soon and would happily have Johnson in at full back as I think we have missed his crossing and directness.

Tight game tonight

Based on the fact that I think it'll be more a 3-5-2 than a 5-3-2. Before our recent slump we were doing well attacking wise. Lots of goals in a few games.

Bola is decent going forwards. Haven't seen enough of Fisher to know how he'll fare.
