No idea on team today due to possibility of Tav being injured. A free hit really for us. My best guess.

            Bettinneli

Dijksteel                    Bola

         Hall Fry McNair

         Howson Saville

Kebano.    Bolasie.    NML

K Look, he magicked him out of the water!

Quest will usually side with the ref from what I've seen over the past few years, so the fact they unequivocally didn't in this instance says it all to me.

I think a defeat is more likely then not. Swansea are 12 points better off but the importance being they have conceded 13 goals less then us. So although they are not prolific goal scorers they are a tight knit team that concede far less then we do.

We were comfortably better than Swansea in the match earlier in the season.

We're in marginally better form than them, having lost less, scored more and conceded less recently.

Could easily see us winning, but it's so rare that we seem to grab a win in Wales.

I'd probably be happy with a score draw.

Firmly expect a loss today. Think NW will field 7 defensive players again and that’s probably a bit more justified against Swansea.

Assuming Tav is out. I'd go for something like this...

Bettinelli

Fisher, Fry, Hall, McNair, Bola

Saville, Kebano, Morsy

Watmore, Akpom, Bolasie

Howson and Dijksteel, in my opinion, in recent weeks have been off it.

That’ll be a 0-3 loss for sure.

Definitely not. Playing 12 players could be a great way to beat them

For Swansea?

I’m not sure it’s allowed to field 12 players. Even for teams managed by Warnock😜

Well if it means we can play 12 players in order to get 3 points against Swansea to secure the 3 points, then I might be in the minority but I'm all for it, and would ask the ref if he would turn a blind eye and allow it.

My think was play with 12 men. Then when the FA try to charge us or dock us points, get Karen to create a dossier and we'll probably get points added.

    • Ha! Yes - Warnock doesn't strike me as a "Golden Thread" kind of guy. I guess the idea had to be abandoned once he was brought in. But other clubs have made similar philosophies work for them and I'd hope it is resurrected in the near future. Though maybe, as you say, our chairman and board simply aren't smart enough to see the benefits.
    • Do you have a link? You probably posted it earlier but I'm very lazy
    • I think the fact that Bevington left within months of that woodgate press conference and then woodgate was replaced with Warnock a couple of months after that shows that it was likely a difference in philosophy between the chairman and him. I could be wrong but knowing the personality of Gibson it just seems that that was how it probably went.
    • Ha ha No I was the one who was shaking his head at the comment! Would be good to get your opinions on the station 👍👍. I was the one who was blasting Warnock
