Then he returned to defense, cause Fry was injured I just can't see him back in midfield as Warnock seemed pretty unsure on his as a midfielder, I'd be happy either way

TLF10 4,497
Chuba family all still live in London so it could be simply a weekend at home for him during the weekend of the final.
DurhamRed 2,047
It'll be epic if we sold Akpom for anywhere near the price we paid for him

SzilardNemethsCurtains 2,844
I have nothing against Chuba but it was a mistake to think he fit our style, so if we can recoup and he gets a good move then all the better

BelgianBoro 765
Does this mean the rumored return from retirement ex-Forest player Bryan Roy will never allow us to have a front three of Roy - Chuba - Brown ? 1

Mind you we'd definitely have the most "offensive" forward line in the league! 😁 1

It's interesting to note the tactics used by manager Javier Sanguinetti. Setting out in a 4-1-4-1 formation, Payero would often play as the right-sided central midfielder in that midfield three." Does that actually make sense?

Does that actually make sense? Yes it makes sense. They played one DM with two CMs in front of him and Payero was the right sided one of those two.

The 4.1.4.1 makes it sound like there were 4 midfielders with one sitting but they then go add Payero was on right hand side of a midfield 3. Yet the formation makes no reference to 3 midfielders. It makes reference to 4 midfielders. All that said @Brunners has nailed the explanation. If he comes he will probs play in a midfield 3 with Howson and Morsy. NW seems keen to play Howson and Morsy together and if he does I do wish Morsy is the sitter and not Howson.
TLF10 4,497
Are many folk from here going to the Q&A evening with NW? If so and he takes questions from the floor can someone please ask him why he playe Howson as the sitter and Morsy as the advanced one given both they careers to date Morsy has been the no.6 and Howson a no.8. Even now despite his age I would back Howson to score more than Morsy as I feel Howson is more composed in front of goal than Morsy.
