Moscow only paid 3 million Euros for him two years ago and he hasn't been a massive succes, so we could probably get him for what we were willing to pay for Muniz. At 24 he's got very good experience with almost 130 appearances in the top leagues of Russia, Spain, Greece and France. A 1 in 3 striker in the last two years in Russia and prior to that 1 in 2 for Athens. my only issue with this potential signing, is that it risks the return of Pinkponce....and 2 others

Could help him settle better

Humpty 3,261
I'd hazard a guess that 95% of our support have never heard of him, which is why i don't think it fits the "shocked" criteria.

Could help him settle better I'm struggling to think of someone who would even be possible for us to get that would be 'shocking', but then I guess that's why it would be shocking. I think signing a Argentina U23 international would be relatively shocking, most people were shocked when Payero was initially mentioned.

Yeah it’s got to be someone who fans have already heard of for it to be classed as “shock”

Think you'd struggle to find any Boro fan who wasn't shocked when it first broke.

Absolutely, but just the way the gazette have reported it or have been told by the club makes me think it’s a “big name”.
