They aren’t comparable deals.

mj south 613
Since we first went in for Muniz we have signed Kieron Scott, maybe we've presented to him a new "project" or direction which where we want to head which is appealing to Muniz and now makes us a more attractive proposition

I was thinking it might just be wanting his isolation period over before an announcement, that, or they are maybe awaiting the work permit being received.

ChipBarrington 315
Maybe were just trying to stretch it out so he misses the signing deadline and cant be subbed on to score a consolation goal on Sunday?
DurhamRed 2,047
The Brazilian media seem sure Fulham aren't going through with the deal. The UK media seem the deal is about to be completed to Fulham. Who has the most recent information? It's some circus
notjade 1,174
Fulham doesn't comply with the agreement with Flamengo, and Rodrigo Muniz can go to another English club Rodrigo Muniz completes the quarantine period, as he was diagnosed with Covid-19 last Saturday (31). However, the center forward starts to worry about the future, which is increasingly undefined. This is because Fulham (ING) did not fulfill the agreement with Flamengo and could lose the athlete to Middlesbrough (ING). Fulham had agreed to hire Rodrigo Muniz for 8 million euros (something around R$ 50 million at the current price). The English team was to send the document with the official proposal since Thursday (29) last week, which did not happen, leaving the red-black directors dissatisfied with the club's posture. The information was first published by Canal Venê Casagrande, on Youtube. Middlesbrough, in turn, observes the situation from afar and does not rule out making a new attack by the center forward, with values higher than the last offer made. At the time, the club signed with 5 million euros (about R$ 31 million at the current price). It is important to note, however, that Fulham is preferred by Rodrigo Muniz and the athlete's businessmen. In addition to not sending the official document, Fulham displeased the leaders of Flamengo with another attitude. After agreeing all the values of the transaction, the English team tried to reduce from 8 million euros to 6 million euros (something around R$ 37 million). Thus, the future of Rodrigo Muniz is uncertain and, for now, the athlete cannot even take the field due to Covid-19. The player will embezzle Flamengo in the duel against ABC, at 21:30 (GMT) this Thursday (5th). The clash is valid for the second game of the last 16 of the Copa do Brasil and will be played at Arena das Dunas. The first match, at Maracanã, ended 6-0 for Rubro-Negro, who can be defeated by up to five goals difference, which guarantees classification in the quarterfinals of the knockout tournament.
RiversideRed 1,216
So what is the offer now then? Is it 6m euros upfront with 2m euros in instalments and 20% sell-on clause Cause we had offered something with a 50% sell-on clause.

Foogle 2,104
Seems like an incredibly expensive gamble from us, 8m is a lot for us to spend on a prospect so I'm not too bothered if/when this falls through, I'd be more bothered by the fact that it leaves us light upfront but I assume we have other targets.
