Okay then, well who are the two players behind him..? Wouldn't be shocked if it's Bamba/Paterson. Announced today or tomorrow you'd think?

Three years isn't that good though was hoping it would be four and club have an option of a fifth. If he's as good as we're hoping he'll be gone halfway through our PL season, with 18 months left on his deal for a huge fee....

Can we make a link up with them like we done with Juninho club if he smashes it. I also reckon they are praying for payero to smash it here as if he does it will attract interest in other players in this league. Will make for a nice export market
BoroJake 2,345
In the gazette article about payero signing it mentions at the end that we are not back in for Muniz and reports that we are back in are wide of the mark. We are after other strikers now it says

Will 2,958
They're not going to crash the signing of a young Argentina international that is considered quite a coup with the announcements of Bamba and Patterson. They'll come tomorrow I'd imagine

I get the feeling its more about Flamengo trying to force Fulham's hand by suggesting we're back in with a chance of signing him. Not to say there's zero chance he ends up here, you never know as we don't know how serious Fulham are about it or whether they will go through with their offer. But I suspect we are working on something else instead whilst waiting to see how that develops without our input.

LBP 3,035
Transfermarkt has the deal costing £6.08m Imagine that's spread over 3 years and including add ons?

It will be. Very rare that clubs pay it all up front even at the very top end. Its also better for cashflow purposes. I know Mike Ashley used to pay all the transfer fee up front though usually
RiversideRed 1,216
Just hope we have an option to extend it by a year or two.
TeaCider24 12,639
Striker and a back up left back and I'm fairly satisfied, the rest can be padded out with loans.
