To be honest if he's getting 15 goals and we're getting promoted I can't imagine us turning our nose up at him...

A goal scorer in this league is 15m plus nowadays so for €8m (£6m) We’d be daft not to if that was the case

Offer has been accepted bauser has had his critics but he has pulled masterstrokes on both of these.  Now over to you Leo!  Payero small issues look sorted should be an announcement tomorrow or f

Gibson doing a Gibson. Having another punt, pushing for Bolasie, this Argentinian and money available for a couple more. (Not a lot though) Spence going for £5m

Not been keeping up but Sporar should be sorted by Tuesday

That is an incredible deal for us.

Though I hate the fact that if he does turn out to be a goal machine we may stop playing him if it looks like we'll be promoted.

Because you just know that's what we'll do to avoid actually buying him.

It's 15 goals AND promotion.

Anyway, if he's banging them in we'd probably want to buy him at that price regardless of promotion.

Worth noting that Sporar can also play as a Second Striker and from the right channel as an Inside Forward (ignore Transfermarkt, it's very hit and miss).

He'd work in a number of systems. 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1 and variations of each. Wouldn't consider him an option for the lone striker, but hopefully that points in the direction of him playing alongside Ikpeazu.

While I'd like to think that's true, what are the odds Boro just see it as a way of loaning a top striker for the season, getting us promoted then trying to stay in the Premier League on the cheap again?

I hate to be pessimistic but it's not like we haven't done that before.

Would hope he can communicate with Payero too.  Feel really sorry for him at the moment with no Leo.  Must be hard as a young kid not knowing a country and not being able to speak to many teammates.  The only one I can think of who he can likely talk to is Bamba.

Do we know he can't speak English? Many young Europeans have excellent English, and at the very least enough to get by.

Edit: Just realised he's not European. Yes I'm thick 🙂

What a weird thing to say. Why would we turn down the chance to sign a goal machine upon promotion for a sum that is fairly low if those criterias are met. Not many 15+ goalscorers in the Championship will cost less than 7 million punds.

It was very clear he couldn’t on the video they put out his first day here

Just going off what Warnock said in terms of his translating app.  He also didn't look like he spoke to any of the players during warmup on Sat.

I think he means Payero can’t speak English. It was reported that he doesn’t speak it and will have to rely on Leo initially

Does seem like Bausor has played a bit of a blinder in terms of the terms of the deal. Now let's hope our scouts were right in recommending him.

And if they're not we just send him back with only a year of wages lost, no harm no foul!

I did mean Payero - was hoping Sporar could find common language with him at least

If I can be a bit greedy, I do hope that we have some kind of fixed fee agreed for if we don't get promoted too. Would hate for him to come, be a massive success, us just miss out of promotion then get asked to stump up more money because that hadn't been agreed at this point.
