Fry has been back in this season and we look just as clueless defensively now as we did at the back end of last season.

Maybe he should've signed a back up CB in that time, instead of leaving us with only 2 in the squad? Weird how the manager is in charge of building his team and then bemoans the... lack of depth in his team.

And people are still talking about how injuries have been the problem.

He's never been the same since! Would've gone up there and then, are you with me? Vomit.

I actually think Warnock did really well up until Xmas last year, I think he overachieved with the players that he had. After Xmas I felt like he underachieved with the squad we had and by April it seemed like he and the club had virtually given up.
LBP 3,012
Wonder how much Camarasa would cost us? His contracts up next summer and he's back from a long injury, would surely help our midfield and help Payero "acclimatise" as well

If he was all about doing the smoke and mirrors crap for positivity, he wouldn't have slammed the basic assessment that he was even worthy of being called a striker before the season was over. The only person he was trying to make look good at that point was himself. Well yes, why not, Warnock knew then he was not up to it. You could look at it as a positive for the player, being honest with him that he had no future at Boro and advising him to look for another club, is another way of spinning it. Forward planning is far better than last minute spur of the moment decision making, well it is in my eyes. In order to buy the club needed to free up wages and recover some funds. Why keep an asset you wont be using? You do what you can, football is a murky world as fans we do not see or hear about most of it, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t go on. Players and their agents are just as selfish as managers and clubs. 1
TheJew 2,886
Wouldn't get too concerned about this season. It's clearly a transitional year, bed in some potential foreign superstars whilst establishing a secure Championship position. The interesting bit will be who the next manager is.
kentucky 341
We had our best run last season when Howson was suspended.

Your anti-Warnock bias has always been there (ever since you called him out for being pro-Brexit and that was a reason you gave for wanting him to be the manager). By all means come after him when we’ve lost a load of games or whatever but not when we are still in August…and we’ve only lost one game and drawn away from home with Fulham. we lost Fry, Tav and Dijksteel last season which were huge losses coupled with the fact that he had players like Britt and Fletcher who didn’t give a ****. Is this what it’s going to be like after every game we don’t win this year?
LBP 3,012
If Warnock wasn't charismatic he wouldn't have anywhere near the backing he does on here I reckon 4
