IIRC, Brum are Deeney's boyhood club, so that makes sense as he winds down his career. I wouldn't particularly want him at Boro, so that's no great loss. I'm not feeling the Maja love-in either, to be honest. He's been a one-goal-in-five-games man at both Bordeaux and Fulham, which is pretty underwhelming for a striker on big wages.
