Saido Berahino is on the verge of a return to English football with an unnamed club before the transfer deadline.

A permanent deal is in place between current side Zulte Waregem & a new team.

not seen how hes done the last few years but please please not us.

I'd take a punt on Berahino if he was cheap. Maybe Warnock can put his arm around him and get the best out of him. Can't believe he's 28 though!

No way, he simply just isnt worth investing any time into.

Sky Sports reporting that a Championship team are in for Jamie McGrath, but not saying who

please be us. hes the sort of player who could make us a fortune if he is a success in the champo. plays anywhere and scored wherever he plays. not many players like that.

I definitely feel like the Sporar announcement is being saved in case other transfers don't pan out.

We all know there's a meltdown every deadline day, and announcing a striker will help limit that somewhat.

Berahino has had the arm round his shoulder, Mark Hughes backed him to turn his career around even when he didn't start all too well. For whatever reason, the lad just doesn't have the mentality to be a professional footballer. He's not a supporting striker at all, he's supposed to be a poacher so really you have to judge him on his goals and yet throughout his career he's got a goal in him every 5 games.

In fact, if you go back through his stats and take away his stats away from whilst he was a West Brom player (including the loans he had at different levels of English football) he is a 1 in 7 striker. So even if he had a year matching his record since leaving West Brom, he'd do well to score 6 goals in the entire season.
