Out of interest why?

I think it creates an unnecessarily toxic feeling to have dozens of posters saying he should be sacked before the halfway point if we're not storming it.

It's not the concept itself, if we were 19th at Christmas I'd not argue against it, it's the the fact that it's being brought up long before it's even a potential issue.

Often by posters who want it to happen, rather than just being pragmatic.

Wouldn't really be bothered if Warnock hadn't made it clear he reads forums.

I do also think people are putting a lot of blind trust in Kieran Scott to sort things and bring in the ideal manager considering it's a brand new role for a 37 year old.

That’s a fairr and balanced point to be fair. I myself am torn between moving forward into a ‘New era’, more based on hope after the dross of Pulis, Woodgate and at times Warnock. But you make a great point about blind trust in Scott, which has the potential to now take off.

I’m a bit unsold on Warnock being here because I don’t think we will go up over Fulham, Bournemouth, West Brom and the rest of the bigger teams, so I kind of feel it’s a bit of a nothing season in some regards. I’d rather bring a new manager in now and bed players in with a new style of play potential on offer and then give it a go next season.

Then on the other side of it, Warnock deserves to give it a go in what will probably be his last in management and he deserves a crack this season because he saved us post Woodgate. Gibson is a loyal man and I do think he will be as fair to Warnock as he can. And to be fair to the club, they have given him the tools to give it a bloody good go.

The only sour note for me this season so far is Warnocks resistance to bring on Payero when games are at 0-0. Or indeed his reliance on ‘his players’. He’s damned if he does ans then if it goes tits up people will still come out and question why he brought him on 🤣
