Take a deal so far where the other side is heavily invested in it, and really wants it to happen, then try and change something in your favour at the last minute. If they really want it to happen they might just go along with it, even if they don't agree to a change you haven't lost anything. The absolute worst case is they pull the plug on the deal but they want him out so I don't think that will happen. Link to post Share on other sites
