Rules out Andy Carroll.

For a club in trouble financially they sure as *** don't seem to care. Still going mad!

Spurs are still after Traore.

Really annoyed we didn't think to put a sell-on clause in his contract when we signed him.

They paid off his contract. Sell on clause is irrelevant

We wouldn't have been able to as he was signed on a release clause. There was no negotiating power at our end.

Bit disappointed we’re offering Morsy to clubs - I think he brings something different to the team and is excellent at breaking up play. We might think we can upgrade but if he’s not wanting to leave and with our squad is as thin as it is, I think we’d be better keeping him at least until Jan to see if the new players settle.

Apparently Randolph is trying to get out of West Ham. I understand all the off field stuff that happened and genuinely don’t know whether we’d take him back but..

I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

Not when we've just singed 2 keepers and still have Stoj.

Ouch - singed keepers...did they stand too close to the barbecue or something? 😁🔥🍔

I do feel bad for Stoj and wish he'd been given more of a chance, but it seems he is surplus to requirements.

I'd send Daniels out on loan, bring Randolph in and make Lumley the #2 (or 13).

I’d have him back in an instant.

Reckon they must have burned their hands given the way neither likes to use them 🤣

He'd need to seriously drop his wage demands. Like, to lower than what they were when he was here.

Doubt that will happen, he left to earn a lot more money with the knowledge he wouldn’t be playing much

Right here we go, strapped in and glued to here and Sky Sports. If the rumours are right we could at the end of today have a team with pace and midfield possession to feed a strike force, and it has been a fair few years since you could say that isn’t it. Yes I know things will probably go horribly wrong,(again), but I am hugging my positive stone

Is not slightly worrying/odd that Sporar hasn't been announced if it is actually all done? Surely if they could Boro would want to get in on the deadline day malarky. Why not get it announced?

    • Quick question has JLS played left back before?
    • Gibbo must see that it’s worse than ever in terms of morale
    • I’ve felt like this for the past couple games now. Not going to change until everyone associated with this *** negative regime leaves the club. Our manager only ever sees the negatives, from his presser, to his lineup, to the way we approach the match tactically. How can fans expect to be positive when the focal point of the club is nothing but the opposite. All he does is feel sorry for himself and play the victim.
    • In a strange way I think the injuries help Warnock. It would be a hell of an ask to bring someone in and say there you go here’s 15 for players and no budget.
    • This game is what my remaining thread of hope is hanging on. Fail to win this and I expect the pressure for Warnock to go will ramp up to the point where Gibson will have to take action. Which will probably throw the succession plan into chaos. But leaving Warnock in post any longer will put Boro in serious danger of being sucked into the relegation battle. I can put up with "on again, off again" performances where we muddle through to another mid-table finish, but defeat (or even failure to win) will surely see the rot set in and put us on a downward spiral. Not overly optimistic though as Warnock sounds like he's already thrown the towel in. Pretty shocking really. Managers are supposed to project confidence and play up the positives, in all but the most dire situations.
