Dan's Summer Transfer Thread. Aka: " Post Mortem Time""

Just now, Jamie-H said:

It's an interesting squad we have now it's over to Warnock to get the new players in the lineup ASAP. My worry is if Sporar gets injured we'd have Ikpeazu for 60 minutes and then Coburn which isn't ideal.

Other than a striker and a backup LB I think our squad's in a good place - all comes down to Sporar and if he gets firing whether we can do anything at the top end of the table but let's see!

I think Warnock has already shown that Crooks will also play up front if needed.

Left back is a worry, because if Bola gets crocked we are nackered. I’m sure we’ll be looking to bring Bryan in, especially as he can play CB, which will provide the cover we’ve lost in Wood.

Unless we pull something out of the bag in the next hour and a half?

Gibson doing a Gibson. Having another punt, pushing for Bolasie, this Argentinian and money available for a couple more. (Not a lot though) Spence going for £5m

Not been keeping up but Sporar should be sorted by Tuesday

The reaction to morsy leaving on twitter is unexpected. You’d think we had sold Tav. Didn’t realise so many people loved him. Thought he was a decent player though

I thought we'd try for like Erik Pieters on loan or someone similar, might be available with them signing Cornet and having Charlie Taylor?

Something seriously wrong with this McGrath transfer.

We are only real club linked.

They've Brought in a replacement.

Manager interview yesterday was basically admitting he is leaving

    • Swansea average 66% possession every match so I imagine their fans see that sort of game a lot. I'd prefer us to be adaptable and exploit a team's weakness with Long Balls than to try and play right into their hands.  I've seen enough from Wilder's first 4 games that we'll play a modern style of football for the most part. But I'd always prefer us to be a winning team than an attractive team...

    • Smogsterking is right,  I just googled Celtic managers and before Jock Stein they had the trio of Willie Maley, Jimmy McStay and Jimmy McGrory

    • I would love Utd at Riverside so I can take my little cousin to watch Cr7 who he is obsessed with. Cr7 probs would not play but would like to think he on bench and has to come on when we are leading them but his efforts prove in vain as we knock them out.
