Would expect that in most loan agreements that there would be a provision for the player to be recalled to parent club in case of emergency..  fairly certain that is what happened with St. Etienne and Harold.

Not if it's a season long loan

As things stands what are peoples strongest 11's

Honestly don’t have a clue because I want Siliki, Crooks, Tav, Jones and Hernandez all in. One of them will have to drop out, probably Jones/Hernandez.

Last season we lost Bola, Dijksteel, Fry and Hall all for lengthy periods of time.

We must have something lined up.

if that happened again we'd be totally *** this season. paddy peltier bamba in a back 3 would be pretty much only option.

we are the Alan Nixon club I bet

Except he's with Ireland atm isn't he, so I don't think he'd be travelling to Boro today?

Tav can also cover both wing back roles.

Watmore could probably do a LWB role.

if it does come to this, at least we have options in the forward positions

    • Swansea average 66% possession every match so I imagine their fans see that sort of game a lot. I'd prefer us to be adaptable and exploit a team's weakness with Long Balls than to try and play right into their hands.  I've seen enough from Wilder's first 4 games that we'll play a modern style of football for the most part. But I'd always prefer us to be a winning team than an attractive team...
    • It's also happened twice in Rangers history (McCoist, McDowell and McCall/White, Waddell and Wallace)
    • Smogsterking is right,  I just googled Celtic managers and before Jock Stein they had the trio of Willie Maley, Jimmy McStay and Jimmy McGrory
    • Writing that gave me flashbacks of Noel Whelan and Andy Campbell.
    • I would love Utd at Riverside so I can take my little cousin to watch Cr7 who he is obsessed with. Cr7 probs would not play but would like to think he on bench and has to come on when we are leading them but his efforts prove in vain as we knock them out.
