The Congo international joined the club on a one-year deal with an option in what is his first experience of English professional football.

Born in France and capped at U20 level, Bahamboula has had a number of clubs already which started with AS Monaco before a spell at Dijon in the top flight and also included loans before leaving for pastures new.

A move to Romania followed in 2018 with Astra and a year later a switch to Algeria came with CSC. His most recent club was at Tsarsko Selo in Bulgaria where former goalkeeper Johny Placide was a teammate of his.

Known as 'Moyo', the six-foot skilful striker can also operate in midfield and received his senior debut for the Republic of Congo at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification stage in June 2017.

This is what is on the Oldham website. Not seen loads of Oldham games, but the times I've seen the lad play I've been impressed. He puts in a shift, never seems to stop running, quite gifted.

Dylan Bahamboula Looks like could be a very exciting, low risk signing.

Setting expectations - a squad signing, but with the potential to force himself into the starting line up. I hope he does well and impresses Warnock over the next few days.

Short clip so could be misleading but his touch immediately stood out to me for a big lad. Looks to have very clean control

Think he features in this clip of training actually. Think he's the guy in blue during the small game who does keepy uppies before hitting a shot on the turn. About 3m into the clip

Looks like he's in the passing sections too wearing a white bib with his back to the camera!

Brilliant practise for when we are launching 60 yard long balls down the pitch 🚀

Aye, better to remember that bit than where he loses possession and the no bibs score! 😂

    • Still my closest club and they do play a nice brand of football (most of the time). I'd like to pick and choose games as a neutral but you have to have a club card..... Shame. When I first moved here in '84 I lived about 800 yards from de Meer, their original ground. Went half a dozen times and then stopped going regularly as they were so superior to the oppo that they were invariably 3 up inside 20 to 25 minutes. At that point in a game it was as if an Armistice had been signed, if you don't try to catch up, we won't humiliate you. As a spectacle the game was over. I can get to Breukelen in about 25 minutes by car from Aalsmeer.
    • Sort of. He was identified by the recruitment team (Scott) and Warnock accepted after checking with his guy in France.
    • I think the EFL are holding back the money until the Admin have proved DCFC is going to fulfil its fixtures. Considering the Admin's job is to reduce the debt they don't seem to be selling many assets, Williams off to Chelsea will probably cover the golden ticket fund but actual debts they seem to be more intent on getting them dismissed than paying them.
    • Awful that it's proving necessary but fair play to the club for nipping it in the bud. I fully understand that we all love our clubs and being this close to losing mine, not for the first time in my lifetime (when Stuart Webb got a deal over the line with 10 minutes to spare) makes you realise quite how much of yourself is invested in the club you love., however, visiting fans trying to get into the home end to get close to the owner...... doesn't bear thinking about.
