We are splurging on transfers and people think it's evidence of a long term plan? I don't think that alone is evidence of anything.

I don't pay attention to his posts any more cos he just makes everything up. We need an outsider who isn't going to take any crap from Gibson/Bausor if we want to shake things up here. If anything there’s a confusing mess of signing two lots players - one lot for a manager we don’t have. look like more gift giving. But maybe I am too old and tired.

We're still buying players who presumably aren't really for the future or a future manager let's say. It's still wasting money, even if it's less than we have wasted in the past. My thoughts exactly. I understand the so called 'long term' plan but can't understand why we didn't make the change this summer

That may well be someone who we've had before, though I'd say that's less likely since we've not really had very many former players go on to have a successful off the field career. boro-unger 3,817
I suppose its quite a unique circumstance we're in where the manager knows he's leaving at the end of the season and will be happy for the club to be looking for a replacement while he's here. Allows Gibbo et al to plan things properly and not be all cloak and dagger. I just hope the old face isn't woody.... Maybe Juninho making a return?! Or Rav finally getting his manager job 😄 in all seriousness though, i think a DOF would do us the world of good.
