Great propaganda from the club, though.

Doesn't even make sense as a concept, despite your statement clearly being daft.

Failing to sign a player is not good propaganda.

Hopefully we can announce Payero tomorrow before Rotherham friendly and that will make for a more relaxed and pleasant weekend.

Really wanted this lad, Brazilian fans seem to think he’s the real deal. Shame, but looks like we’ve gone for him as hard as we can and if he’s chose Fulham it is what it is, we all know the club we are these days.

It was exciting while it lasted though, hopefully some more, not inspired at all by anyone we’ve signed so far.

People saying they want Maja though, people seem to rate him based on the fact that he got picked up by a foreign team.  Think it would be a shocking signing.

Andre Grey would be another Assombalonga as well, seen him mentioned a few times.

Just another reminder that if he were called Ronald Smith we'd not be bothered. Being Brazilian and having a nice name doesn't make you good.

Another case of us not having seen a player kick a football in the flesh and pre-judging their worth, even if positive instead of negative!

We are having a decent window so far and will definitely get a few more bodies in.

Don't think it's got anything to do with him moving to a foreign team. There was lots of interest in him and we wanted him before. He was good at Sunderland and had they been able to keep him they would have been promoted.

He did well at such a young age being only 19/20 years old. He's fast, direct and can finish. He's got plenty of experience now and at 22 is a good age for us to develop. Thought he did okay at Fulham in the Prem and I'd be confident he could hit 15+ at Boro.

    • as far as I know, it is still "under consideration"..  which usually means nobody wants to invest the money required ..  would certainly help even if only open on match days, but I fear it will go the way of the wind turbine and unless people start to kick up a fuss, the Transporter ..
