Don't think it's got anything to do with him moving to a foreign team. There was lots of interest in him and we wanted him before. He was good at Sunderland and had they been able to keep him they would have been promoted.

He did well at such a young age being only 19/20 years old. He's fast, direct and can finish. He's got plenty of experience now and at 22 is a good age for us to develop. Thought he did okay at Fulham in the Prem and I'd be confident he could hit 15+ at Boro.

Admire your optimism mate but I’m not confident Ronaldo could hit 15 in this Boro team.

Fair enough, if he comes I’ll get behind him but I think the money could be better spent.

If Watmore can get 9 in half a season, I'm sure we can get someone to manage 15 in a full one.

We have managed a 15 goal scorer (pretty much) even in the drab Pulis years, so the idea that we couldn't get one in this time is just negativity for negativity's sake.

We will need some wingers to support any strikers we bring in like. Who would you go for at striker?

In terms of the Man City player hopefully it's Morgan Rogers on loan. He's raw, but he's pacey and direct.

He stood out for Lincoln last season while on loan.

I think we need a South American manger next year if we want to buy South American players that's the reason Muniz choose Fulham after talking to silva.

I like Tom Lawrence at Derby but how feasible that would be with their situation no idea

Barkhuizen at Preston a tidy player and contract up next summer

1. Randolph - Loan

3. Bamba - Free (One-Year Deal)

4. Payero - Buy

5. Bolasie - Free

6. Rogers - Loan

7. Lazaro - Buy

8. Maja - Buy

9. Delap - Loan

Could Loan to Buy one of Lazaro or Maja or Pay in Installments like with Payero and the Muniz deal.

Muniz on the bench tonight. Can’t be that close if he’s still in the squad

Seen reports it is his last game. If he comes on though then it can’t be close

Honestly don’t know, no one from the championship. That money would get us an average championship plodder, we need to think outside of the box to get value and hope we get it right or get lucky.

Couldn’t agree more about needing wingers though, genuinely can’t remember the last time we’ve had 2 good wingers. Don’t think we ever have in my lifetime. Adomah & Carayol for a bit the best off the top of my head.

Use to love Tom Lawrence but the last season or two he looks like he can't be arsed.

I'd still like Wallace and Woodrow.

Have always looked really consistent and reliable at this level.

Wallace always hits really good stats every season.

2020/21 - 11 Goals, 5 Assists

2019/20 - 10 Goals, 13 Assists

Wallace only got one-year left on his contract too.

    • Probably setting myself up for some disagreement but I have been surprised that the twin transfer policy approach seems to have worked to a greater extent than I thought, Sporar and Payero are both bedding in nicely and seem to be able to work well with Crooks and Uche whilst Bamba and Peltier have earned their corn. If Lea-Siliki comes good and they ever get to the bottom of Ameobi's problem, then I would say that the window could be called successful when compared to others of late. Lumley has his moments but is a massive upgrade on Bettinelli and IF the loan lads come back as more experience and rounded players, I would say progress has been made, even it only means they have impressed elsewhere enough to get decent fees if we can't hang on to them. Coburn and Jones seem to be being integrated into the squad and although others are knocking at the door, it is up to them to break it down by impressing Scott enough to fast track them as he will be the one with the power to decide their future. Hopefully we can keep up the run next week and Gorgeous George takes a day off (for a change) as Clayton seems to have been shown the cold shoulder and shouldn't come back to haunt us in the same way. With any luck might have a couple back after that have to say in closing that although we should have won the last three games, it is really good that we have begun to win games against teams we should win games against, instead of being "Typical Boro"
    • Play-off spots looking interesting now. Not getting carried away, but with player to return from injury we should be able to hang thereabouts.
    • First game I have been able to see live this season and some very promising signs mixed in with a dreadful final ball at times. Great interaction between Sporar and Sol at the end seemed to suggest a good spirit in the camp as well which is good to see.    We all know it’s the hope that kills you but we look like we are a team who can only get better . Today should have been 5 at least and the concern is that we aren’t clinical but in Sporar we have a man who could get 20 this season once he gets the right pass my glass is half full again .....
    • As said above, how was today anything but a convincing win? We won 2-0, and 5-0 probably wouldn't have flattered us too much.
    • Just seen it.  That challenge was so daft that I can only assume he fancied a week off.  Playing for that lot you can't really blame him mind.
