Well yeah, basically. Pulis was always going to prefer Britt. You can sort of see why given Britt's goals for Forest but yeah...the benefit of hindsight being what it is, bad decision.

Assombalonga was signed under monk so like foogle said we don’t want players that spit there dummy out the moment things aren’t doing there way

The way things are going with our wingers(or lack of them available) Neil Warnock will be player manager this season 😁

Don't say that having him a manager next season is bad enough. Should have thanked him and moved him on during close season. Had his time now lets plan for future.

having him in this year is actually good while Scott settles into his role, then he can help pick our new manager for next year.

So we have the cap wearing dinosaur that almost smothered the life out of our club being believed over a Barcelona Player who like Bamford wasn't deemed good enough by the same dinosaur. Maybe having belief in your ability is more important than having splinters sitting on a bench watching prehistoric football.

Maybe but hopefully when he comes in the whole signing process will change hopefully for the better.

The Gazette have really had us all on toast this week! 😅 Let us know about a mystery striker to get our minds racing and hinted at a winger. In reality we haven’t even announced Payero or Bamba yet and no one has a clue if Paterson is even getting a deal.

yay, Scott is bringing a team of people with him - meaning we don't start at scratch

NEIL Warnock has confirmed Middlesbrough have made a Sporting Director appointment amid strong reports Kieran Scott is set to join from Norwich City.

Canaries Head of Recruitment is set to make the switch to Teesside after overseeing a number of successful campaigns with the club, including two promotions to the Premier League.

The position at Boro has been vacant since 2019 and Scott is set to bring a team of people with him as the club look to build a team capable of mounting a promotion push back to the Premier League.

Warnock told Talksport this morning: “They’ve brought a new sporting director in who is starting shortly so I would imagine things will change in the next 12 months

“I’m not going to be working ten years so they have to look forward to the future so that doesn’t bother me.

“They have to think what’s right for the club and then look forward to how they are going to sustain it.

“Everyone is looking for something different and they’ve decided to go down that way.

“We’ll have to see what happens and he’s a good bloke apparently from what I’ve heard. He's from Norwich City."
