RiseAgainst 3,781
Probably the biggest mistake Gibson has made since appointing Woodgate was giving Warnock a season-long contract extension earlier this year. Warnock saved us from League One, but the last few games show he doesn't have the tactical acumen to save us from the Championship as well. And his endless distortion of the truth is becoming increasingly unpalatable. Every manager tells porkies, but there's a world of difference between "I didn't see it" and "I didn't have any strikers all season".

Redcar Rioja 5,873
Apart from our Wycombe result that late Cardiff leveller intensified my disappointment with Derby surviving but I awoke to this glimmer of schadenfreude: https://the72.co.uk/234649/alan-nixon-derby-county-face-massive-points-deduction-as-finer-details-emerge-following-season-finale/

Downsouth 6,176
I bet Wycome wished they had scored a few more! Pathetic really to finish on a plus 2 goal difference
Old Codger 3,040
Given that Howe would cost the equivalent of six Championship players, then his team would like double that, so we would be faced with a choice of a decent management team that would have no cash for players or the possibility of a decent foundation for whoever comes in when money starts to flow again. As the priority is likely to be ensuring survival, then we have the choice of gritting our teeth and supporting our team or turning our backs and walking away. Being beyond hope, I can't do the latter, so like every other time, I will wait it out because things can only get better.. hopefully 🙂

Ahh of course, and I suppose were the only team in the league who has suffered from injuries?

Sorry have to disagree as clearly the "older" managers who are so set in their ways have hampered Boro and allowed us to become a very predictable and easy team to beat. Are we there yet?😏

Of course not but a thin squad to begin with didn't help and having to replace aging crocks with new blood also factors in, are we expecting too much too soon or just not able to face reality. Might have been different if money was coming in, but it isn't and if anything will make it worse, it is people deciding they've had enough. who knows, this time next year we could be celebrating (one way or the other). The standard lecture to prospective Boro supporters always included the line, "This club will break your heart" and whilst we have been lucky in one way to see success for a while, it is not our right. Things go in cycles, so hopefully we are at the beginning of a new one, but after the last time someone was given the keys to the till, I am prepared to wait it out .. and if it don't happen, then so be it.
