We should just go back to this, but change the year to 1876

The thing is I'm not bothered about it.  I don't believe that the person who said it really meant it, and I doubt he was looking to really offend me with it, so I wouldn't report it or him.  A bit lik

Well to be fair they are just ideas put together by fans - either using some kit design website or art software. They probably weren't intended to be original. I'm guessing whoever did them was just t

£50 for a plain green/turquoise top.

It actually relies on the sponsor to look like a football shirt.

If they'd put even a modicum of effort in to it, it could have been brilliant.

We've had some crap kits that have gone too far with the 'effort' though. This year's home kit looks a bit like that, trying to be too smart about the design and it ended up looking a bit naff.

In contrast, I love the simplicity of the away kit. It's just a colour scheme that works with a basic Hummel design. The more I look at it in the pictures, the more I want one. Each to their own.

That's a beauty.

The equivalent would be having a map of Teesside (or North Yorkshire) across the front of our shirt, which I would be all over.

I think it would have looked really good if they had done the sponsor stuff in gold too.  The white is a bit overpowering to me, and detracts from the rest of the design.  The turquoise and gold would be really nice without the glaring white.

It grew on me as the game went on, if I'm honest.

Yes. I wasn't sure about it when I started watching, but quite like it now.  I like the colour and the gold details.  Having seen it on the match stream, I now understand why the sponsor stuff is white, as it goes with the player numbers (which would not show up well enough in gold).
