FT.  Denmark will be more difficult.  What's the betting that Braithwaite scores against us?

Bleh - you had to mention it. He is due a goal, isn't he?

Heading away with the good lady wife so won’t be back on before the final. Sincerest best wishes to the ordinary English fans on here. Hope it happens for you 💪

I think for me it's partly about the connection to the area too. I don't hold much connection to the entirety of England but I love coming from Middlesbrough, I've lived and worked in a few places aro

Congrats, friends ...  🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 V 🇩🇰 @ Wembley  ...   Good luck to y'all!

Indeed. Really is strange the Scots go so mad for it, yet barely anyone in this country drinks the stuff.

I never did understand why Devon fortified wine was popular in Scotland but I guess it’s the potency and price point.

3rd semi final we have reached with Gareth (if you count the nations league). Third time lucky this to go the extra steps 🤞🤞

And for some bizarre reason some people seem to slag him off at every chance. I don’t get it

italy, playing super high tempo every game, picking up injuries and getting little niggles and fatigued players, danes the same, ha some hard slogs, looking tired earlier. spain to never been easy games for them either. they've had some tough old ding dongs.

meanwhile england been rotating and barely breaking sweat each game.

looking good for us isnt it.

The point being it’s under achieving. No one cares about runners up never mind third and forth places. GS screwed up given the easiest route in the WC, period. To date we have had one serious challenge from a team not doing well, Germany.  The point being we have won f all and our history as a football nations has dulled expectations so any progress is seen as success.
I get a bit tired of all the bigging up, the rhetoric that generates from doing what is expected given England status as the home of football. Success is actually winning something, hopefully this maybe is about to change.

And now we go home to 60000 at Wembley and none of the teams left will fancy that noise and atmosphere. If we are ever going to win another major tournament then this has to be the time, come on England

    • I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis Wing's loan at Sheff Wed was cancelled and he ended up at another club. https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/sport/football/news/sheffield-wednesday-player-moore-snub-22850581 "Wing is one of six loan players on the Owls' books. English Football League rules stipulate only five can be named in a matchday squad. Although Moore has no qualms with carrying lots of loans, the likelihood is Wednesday will sign at least one more before the January deadline. Talks are ongoing with Arsenal over borrowing striker Tyreece John-Jules for the remainder of the campaign. There are big question marks surrounding Wing and Lewis Gibson's futures. Neither Wing nor Gibson have fulfilled their potential for various reasons. Three defeats from the last four matches has derailed the Owls' promotion push and Moore must quickly decide on the make-up of his loan contingent. Their season could hinge on the decision."
    • I get where you're coming from but it was hardly Roberto Di Matteo winning the Champions League though, was it? You can respect the way he came in for sure but I think it's important to acknowledge the difficulty of the task that he had when he came in, it wasn't overwhelming and he had a good group of players to work with.
    • I wouldn't describe Onel as deadwood personally. The only reason he left is exactly because the manager and style of play changed. I also think there's a very good chance we would have got him with or without Scott as I believe he is widely believed to be the player Warnock said he'd "take in a heartbeat" when potential transfers were being discussed.
    • Hospitality at the JCA is, indeed, very good. I've got a Scots mate who keeps threatening to take me to a Utrecht game. Must do it one of these days.
