I'm sure even Warnock would recognise Bettinelli was a mistake last season, and Stojanovic certainly couldn't have done worse, but he didn't look particularly impressive in the 6 games he played under Warnock.

He was dropped for Pears near the end.

The only reason I'm bothered about him is we bizarrely spunked £1m on a goalkeeper in January when we were struggling badly financially and then Woodgate proceeded not to play him until Pears had made enough mistakes to need dropping himself.

His goal against Rotherham in pre-season probably didn't help, he kept going for goal rather than putting a cross in.

This team will be a different animal with a specialist set piece taker. Needed one for years.

Payero will have Hall, Fry, Crooks, McNair, and Ikpeazu to aim at!

Did anyone experience trouble watching the game today? Last year I bought the season pass thing and used a vpn and everything was great but today no matter what I tried it told me I it wasn't available in my country even though they took the money off me

When games on sky ifollow isn't streamed because its also being broadcast to international TV stations.

It's all back to the pre-pandemic state.

So pretty much only midweek games available to UK & Ireland viewers and the rest available to overseas unless they're on Sky or some other international broadcaster.

I think some countries can still watch them on iFollow in that case too but most can't. Something like that.

You need to VPN to countries without Champo coverage for the Sky games.  Romania, Albania, Cyprus, etc. Worked fine for me, so should be all good for the normal games.

A lot of my thoughts on the game have been said already by people. 
 

Ikpeazu whilst not flashy, looks to be like the glue to hold it up for us. I also thought he was trying which is a basic requirement which I never got the vibe off from Britt and Fletcher. 
 

I thought after Wilson score Fulham would go on to steam roller us quite frankly, but we defended when we needed to and it certainly wasn’t us holding on for dear life. 
 

I thought Tav should have done better with his two chances towards the end of the game, imo he should be hitting the target and making the keeper work, but his drive alongside Jones’ was a refreshing change of approach. 

And also Paddy’s deliveries were shocking. I think Howson will be swapped for Payero this season, so hopefully we get some good deliveries. 

Im happy with that, never thought we’d get a point against a strong Fulham in London either. Now just sat in Kings Cross waiting for a train back, UTB! 

Also for the people on the tube who were chanting boro songs all the way, thank you because We followed you after having no idea where we were going 🤣🤣

Ikpeazu caused loads more problems than Britt and Fletcher ever did. We need runners off him and we will be fine. I thought Watmore could have worked off Ikpeazu but Watmore was very poor and needed taking off.

My thoughts now sitting in hotel in Waterloo:

My son had the day of his life, lost his voice, started a chant, and really enjoyed himself. Job done.

The subs changed the game. I would have taken Bola off as he was knackered. Shows what I know.

We are only going to get better. But we kept Mitro quiet which bodes well.

Why do Fulham fans even go to the game? They are so passive. Weird.

Cannot wait for Wednesday where hopefully Payero and a few kids get to start our cup run.

Day in London tomorrow. Exhausted now.
