So unpredictable is football at present . I have now put my predicting into the hands/paws of my JR she will tell me by using one bark for a home win and two barks for an away and a growl for a draw.

Here's hoping my season starts improving soon otherwise I may have to sack her and get me a budgie. 😄

So desperate I'll give anything a try.

Pretty low-scoring week all round. One 5 for Nawoo, lots of 4s and quite a few 3s and 2s.

Definitely a few surprise results. Who'd have predicted Fulham and QPR losing at home, Forest getting their first win at Huddersfield, or Posh beating Brum?

The Championship I believe is the toughest league to predict the outcomes of matches.

    • Great one DC. I reckon we will go unchanged. Maybe Fry in for either Bamba or Jones  - if Wilder wants Dijk at RWB to be a bit more solid, but I reckon he'll go with Jones' pace. I also reckon it's too early for Payero to start, so he will be benched. Would be good to see him come off it with a strong cameo. Dejan will leave probably on a free and Coburn will go out on loan if there are any suiters. A half season in League 1 or 2 will do him good. I doubt we'll go undefeated. Stoke, Muff and Forest are a tougher run than we've had under Wilder so far. But a win at Stoke will surely breed a lot of confidence and really put us into the mix. However I think it'll be a 1-1 game.
    • This season is probably as good as its going to get for Coburn. I'd imagine next season he'll face much stiffer competition for a place and he'll see much less game time. He's still young so it's no bad thing for him. Depending on who we bring in, he might even go out on loan. Might see Kavanagh get the odd cameo towards the end of the season if we're not threatening the play offs.
    • we dont have a decent keeper. daniels and lumley are both error prone. they both look nervous to me. maybe they are just not good enough at this level. both are still quite inexperienced, maybe one of them will mature into a decent keeper over the next year or two. i think lumley looks the better of the two from what i've seen so far.
    • It was a brilliant save. But if I remember correctly he only had to make it because he started their move by punching a routine ball from the their corner that he could have just caught when under no pressure at all. I'm certainly not at ease with him.
    • Good effort DZ. Although Wilder looks like he's about 80 in most of those gifs!
