Boro v QPR 2-3( Ikpeazu, Crooks)

Recommended Posts

Good half from us we deserve to be 2/3 up in my opinion, Uche's just a truck when he gets near the ball I love it.

Fair play to Jones the lads got some good moves and he's making the right decisions more often than not which bodes well for him as he develops further.

Speaks volumes when a 21 year old kid with 3 senior appearances is absolutely carrying this team at the minute

He reminds of Downing when he first broke into the team.  I mean different kinds of players of course, different preferred feet as well for that matter, but that instinct to attack his man whenever he

I have just read on another Boro forum that four QPR fans were attacked outside of the ground at full time. Two dads with their their ten year old boys were kicked and  punched to the ground by these

The difference between Uche and Britt is so night and day. Having a player striker contribute to a game when he’s not scoring is so nice to see. Uche just bullies defenders. If we could get a better set piece taker (Payero?) it would be even better as Jones and Uche are winning so many.

Good half. Defence working very well to snuff out QPR chances. Spence putting a shift in - running back to win the ball back when he loses it etc.

Good strong pen from uche as well. Much better than a britt skyer.

We are finally starting to look like the horrible nasty Neil Warnock team we have been waiting for. Uche is a one man wrecking ball, everyone's working hard. We still lack quality at the top end of the pitch but hopefully the Dutch and Slovenian lads can provide some of that.

Ikpeazu with 24 touches this half...Britt and Chuba would be lucky to get that in a game last season. Highlights just how much Warnock's preferred system requires a big target man/physical focal point up top. (Not rocket science). Something Britt and Chuba weren't capable of.

How refreshing to see attacking players giving their all for the cause this season, as opposed to the likes of Britt, who you always felt was wandering around thinking about what he was going to have for tea.

Great fun watching this, Uche working his socks off, Issa causing havoc down the left, but we can’t get the ball to him. We are just not pushing up and allowing the QPR defenders to dominate the midfield, and if it continues we will eventually concede.

We definitely have ‘something’ about us this season which we didn’t last.

Everyone has bought in to the plan.

Too many running down contracts last year.
