Teams: Boro v Reading (which, coincidentally is also the name of Middlesbrough Council’s new anti-literacy campaign.... Burning books near you soon!)

Location: Madejski Stadium

Competition: The Championship

Date: Saturday 25th September 2021

Time: 12:30

Introduction

Welcome to the Reading Festival 2021. Full of revelry and rivalry.

Don’t forget to stop by the food halls for all your evening snack and breakfast needs!

The Last Games

Boro 1 – 2 Blackpool.

The Seasiders beat the Teessiders. Payero remained one of the outsiders. Sporar had plenty of offsiders. I drank appleciders.

Fulham 1 – 2 Reading

Reading beat flying Fulham in a surprise result to knock them off top spot and install the usurpers Bournemouth in their place. Ejaria scored both of the Royal goals.

The Un(ger)-Official Match Preview

Boro are sitting un-pretty in 16th. The Royals are on their thrones in 14th place, just 1 point above the Boro. Hopefully we see more fight from the Boro than against Blackpool, where most of the player’s resembled the visiting teams favourite mode of beach transport.

2-1 Boro with Payero and Sporar to score.

Talking Points

-       Any other past or present Boro players we should invite to play at the reading festival?

-       Will Payerosmith get his start? Or is that crazy?

-       Will Dijksteelers wheel be stuck in the middle, or playing at the back?

-       Score / Lineup etc.

Imagine talking about one of your clubs greatest ever hero's in this way whether you want him back as manager or not. Give your head a shake.

In the west of Ireland with no broadband so travelled 45 minutes to watch the match in my friends pub only to find I had missed it due to an early kickoff. I feel blessed

Djed Zeppelin, Kool-son and the Gang, the Tarmo Kinks, Aztec Kamara, the Boamtown Rats, Maddreness, Boz Craggs, Procol Haroum, The Reach Boys, and the headline act has to be the Pink Floyd Hasselbank..  the possibilities are endless :)..  and especially for DZ..  the Korgis 🙂

Caught up with a Reading fan yesterday and he seems to think they've rejigged their starting XI and look pretty good now.

Think Warnock will be in big trouble after this and Sheff Utd. Starting to feel like the Woody season, except we at least have a better squad this time.

1 hour ago, Brunners said:

Swift has 7 goals and 4 assists in 8 games so far. That's mental.

Swift has contributed to 2 more goals than we as a team have scored, that's sad.
