Are people.really having a go about us appointing an experienced, promotion winning, club record beating manager being put in charge above a former player who does have pedigree, but zero experience?

In terms of pedigree, 16 months ago Wilder was runner up to Jurgen Klopp for LMA manager of the year and spoken about as one of the best English managers around for us to get him to come to manage us

I mean id rather him than Warnock.

I don't think he'd drop down to the championship though, he'll be off to la Liga or serie a I think. I don't rate him that highly, his tactics have gotten more and more negative over the years & he was found out last season when jiminez was out that he had one plan and nothing else.

Nuno to BORO , yes or no .

No.

I think Gibson & Scott might be interested and may have added him to their list of possible candidates, but I don't think Boro would interest him.

I don't care who or where the manager/head coach is from as long as they are progressive and play winning football. A Graham Potter (before he came to Brighton from Scandanavia) would be perfect. @Tom has mentioned this on twitter but the sooner we get this new manager/head coach bedded in the less of next season we waste.

News to me that Swansea is now considered to be in Scandinavia...

If the man Scott wants is available then get him in ASAP. If not, it’s probably better to wait it out with Warnock.

I'm not sure why someone would be available in the summer but not now? If the person is interested then surely he'll want to get into the job asap himself.

I know we don't tend to approach managers already in the job, but it's time to shed that silly rule. Spend a little extra money to buy the right man out of his contract now and it could save us millions in the future.

I completely agree but I don't expect Gibson to buy anyone out given his track record.

I suppose the other thing is that perhaps Scott isn't decided on who he wants yet, although the rumours that we've been interviewing for Warnock's successor suggests otherwise...
