Boro vs Peterborough 2-0 (McNair (pen) Coburn)

Recommended Posts

Wow - finally someone passed to Payero.

Boro finish the half with a flourish - a good attacking move that needed some last-ditch defending from Posh to keep Boro from going a goal up.

Best thing to happen in the 51 minutes...

As for the rest of the half...

I don't know if anyone else was close by or saw that but I was coming down the stairs in the North for the build up to that second goal. Payero sets up Coburn and we should be saying first and foremos

Yes at last good news my stream has been cut off probably as a kindness to football. How do you turn professional talented footballers into a rabble and a shambles lacking even in the basic tactics of how to pass a ball, over to you on that one Mr Warnock. Make no mistake on this performance we will be fighting relegation shortly never mind looking at the play offs

Payero won't play for long if at all in the second half, booked and basically not in the game that first 45.

I wonder if Crooks was booked the same feeling would be had by Warnock. I somehow doubt it yet he's been just as bad really. Just bypassing the midfield entirely again.

That wasn’t as bad as I feared to be honest. With a makeshift team and numerous players playing out of position we have managed to be just as dire as we always are.

Ikpeazu is really dross. Looks like he can’t run. In the few games I have seen him young Josh offers so much more.

Crooks has done okay at trying to link up Payero has largely been anonymous.

From what I have seen of him he is not a team player rather an individual who in all honesty does not look that good certainly not the hyped up stuff we all heard about.

To be fair we haven't looked like a team all season.

The whole team is playing with a massive gap in the middle. Playing round the edges of the pitch rather than using the space in between. Crooks and Payero have ended up on opposite wings when they're our only centre mids.

I have to disagree here, he has at every opportunity played the right pass, he just needs to grow in confidence he has the ability, but that will come.

I agree I haven’t seen anything so far to justify the hype but it may be that he’s trying too hard when he gets on the ball.
