First time I've heard him be in the ground since he signed.

The two keepers came on a free if I remember rightly so even if we sold them both we have made a profit. One striker has been loaned in, and the other for not very much. Spent about 8 mill on 13 players (one of them costing more then half of the 8 mil) so I just look at it like this. We tried to give Warnock the bare minimum to succeed his way and if it didn’t work then financially we are still OK to fund the next man in. And aren’t stuck with a load of players that are no good. You’d think Bamba (who I think IS actually good) Peltier etc the older players will probably only have a short contract and go after they expire. They will be suitors for Lumley and Daniel’s even for a small profit. So not too bad a shape I don’t think. Add to that Spence, Coulson, Wing, Akpom to return to the squad or to sell on. I disagree about the payers we can sell on. Akpom, Wing and Coulson will hardly bring anything in fee- wise. Spence , on the back of his Forest form- is the only one where a decent fee can be secured. The two keepers? Again, minimal. They are average keepers and neither had clubs queuing up for their services. I believe Lumbley had a bit of interest from Millwall. So money won’t be flowing into MFC with these players departing. They just aren’t that good.

Rather then spending £15 mil on Britt say and loosing him for nothing

On this basis our recruitment could be severely restricted - especially if we want any kind of quality.
Redcar Rioja 5,872
I think Uche is a useful alternative to throw on especially in the Championship. Crafty Strikers with guile are fine but if it isn't working throwing on an intimidating target man can stir thing up a bit and give the opposition defence something different to handle and in doing so cause some disruption plus we know that getting out of this league sometimes means doing it the hard way to get points on the board. For what he cost and I'm guessing wages I'd be inclined to hang onto him at least until the summer. Regarding injuries, Warnock seemed to have the entire squad not just Uche looking injury prone either through bad luck or poor training and fitness regimes.
Mfcdanny 770
What does everyone think we are targeting in January? Seems to me the way he spoke in his presser that maybe a few deals could already be sorted. but I reckon he will want GK CB RWB or Spence back ST- probably Folarin Balogun
Redcar Rioja 5,872
I'd give Stoj a chance before we just give up on him, Lumley hasn't looked much better than Bettinelli, Daniels doesn't fill me with confidence either and unlike Lumley his distribution seems wayward. Out of the three of them Stojanovic in my opinion is possibly the best of a seemingly bad lot.
TheJew 2,886
Akpom surely has a part to play now we look like we are playing football.
nunthorpered 1,920
Balogun is insane of FM22. So we should grab him at all costs

Was saying I think we’ve done ok In not spending or allowing Warnock to spend on players that wouldn’t suit our next manager so shouldn’t struggle financially with what he did bring in. The only issue with that is that he can't shoot. Just the 2 goals in 10 games in the Greek league this season too.
