Personally would be more than happy with him back.

Him and Negredo were the only decent signings of our Premier League season.

And De Roon. He was just incorrectly used by us.. He has gone on to prove himself since leaving us by playing champions league football and becoming a regular in dutch national team. A dutch team that whilst is poor still has a very good central midfield with likes of Wijinaldum, De Jong, De Beek etc

Yeh he was almost used as a no 10 under karanka. I thought he was a very good player. Imagine him in a wilder team.

Just seen that uche is in London on his Instagram. Wonder if he could be down there sorting a move out or could just have a day off. You’d imagine all the fit players would be in all week.

Actually remember all of our defence including Chambers being pretty poor that season. Got ran rings around and embarrassed on many occasions. Wouldn’t have him back personally don’t think he’s any better then what we have currently

According to the Gazette all the fit players were training today. Unless Uche isolating in London. He could be talking to Millwall

Especially with COVID i imagine players don't have any room to be heading all over the country for a day out either

Yeah him in the Howson role would be ideal given his style of play and how Wilder wants to play.

We had the 5th best defence in the league when Karanka was sacked.

We just had absolutely no attacking instincts, most of our goals came from individual moments of quality.

And he was only 21 ish and had play alongside Antonio Barragan 🙃

Completely agree with this, our slide down the table coincided with Chambers getting injured, we were fairly solid before that, just lacked goals and creativity.

Chambers was the stand out defender. It resulted in him getting a chance back at Arsenal once he returned. He’s had some bad luck with injuries that lad.

Gibson was in and around the England squad at the time too, crazy claim to be honest, our defence was good that season, full backs aside.

Our defence was good that season. Just ramirez sulked as we didn't sell and then we had no creativity apart from a very raw traore trying to dribble passed everyone. Hence couldn't score enough to turn all the draws into wins
