Interesting... Would be very handy if he can do a job there, especially if he can pick an attacking pass. Nothing wrong with Taylor and Peltier defensively but they leave us very lopsided in attack. From the little we've seen of him, Taylor's the LB at the club that offers us the most going forwards in this formation imo.

Actually thought Taylor looked pretty good going forward in his last game, was surprised & impressed. Would like to see if he continues to grow!
Smogzilla 7,484
Boyd-Munce played in the game Wilder and Scott watched at Bishop Auckland on the day he signed on as manager. He ran the show for Brum that day. Was very impressive.

That to me would indicate that he is seen as more of a first team squad member rather than a young un for the future. Tbf there might not be any youth coaches about with COVID! JTG 2,267
Never heard of him but sounds like he was going into the last 6 months of his contract with Brum so presumably it’s a relatively small outlay and he’s still only young. Sounds low risk, I’ll trust Wilder and Scott on this one. 👍

But agree he had a good game there and perhaps an old dog can learn some new tricks...
Redcar Rioja 5,976
I'm guessing that the Club still has lines of communication open with George Friend. I'd be amazed if they didn't at least ask him a hypothetical question on the lad and indeed the lad to George about Boro. If so this would give me grounds for more optimism than for a normal signing at this level.

smogsterking the Inspirati 2,490
I wonder if they ordered too many M U N letters when we were heavily linked with Muniz and we have now signed somebody so we can now get rid of all those letters more easily. 1

It could be that Wilder is wanting to make it clear how involved he is in transfers. Or maybe we are reading too much into it, and Wilder just happened to be around when they were taking the pictures
Neverbefore 10,942
The one and only time I'll be itk- Lad fell out with Gardner and bowyer after they got him to sign a new deal with the promise of first team opportunity and they never followed through. Gives his all, box to box midfielder, left footed, thinks Boro is a class club and loves it here already. Source - the lads dad 😁 23
